Great cameras for the value of money. I got now 8 Vimtag cam, easy to set up, compact and convenient to add at any location in the house that it has an electric outlet. Great quality picture, all function work perfectly as described. TheVimtag support team is incredibly fast, professional, and overall satisfactory. I have gotten super-fast courtesy email responses to any questions I had for them about one cam that cannot be connected. After confirm it is a defective cam they offer to ship to me another new one in 2 days. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, reliable security solution for their home or business. 5/5 stars and definitely WILL buy more of these! I bought this camera to keep an eye on my dog whenever he stays in the room, and it has been very helpful. The video quality is clear, and the connection is stable, so I can check on him anytime without issues. It was easy to set up and works exactly as expected. It gives me peace of mind when I’m not around. Overall, a reliable and practical camera highly recommended!

Update June 2023: I had the camera running for a while, and it works beautifully. But, yesterday I wanted to preserve a video saved on the SD card. Please be careful if you want to save your video to a later use and/or storage, as it is not so easy and intuitive. I have a dash cam where I remove the SD card, and either swap with a new card, or download what I need and reinsert. But not this on this VIMTAG camera ... The camera formats the SD card once you insert it. Also, once you remove the SD card, the partition is corrupted and cannot be read. So, if you want the video on the SD to be preserved, you need to download while the SD card is still in the camera on the device you have the VIMTAG app - in my case my phone - then transfer that download to a safe site. It seems that there is not enough quality testing done on this device. Bummer, because it's such a great little device otherwise. <><><> Purchased this for $19.99 and ended up purchasing 3 total. The camera has a very good image, great motion detection, and can see in the dark through the window!!! I installed it inside the front window and it can capture cars and people going by at 25+ feet away. I am also happy that I can capture the neighbor's numerous cats prancing by at night. The motion sensor picks them up and the motion light activates. I took away one star because I put a question - two actually - to the vendor how to use a power bank - battery or solar rechargeable - and received the same response that it is for power plug only. However, one user did mention that he was walking around using a power bank, but no other details. I want to capture the house - hence 3 purchases - during a hurricane - which lasts about 5 hours in total - to see if my neighbor's stuff breaks my windows ... So, if anyone has any ideas, please upload your set-up. By the way, in the testing mode that I have now, 24 hours continuous recording lasts more than 1 week for a 64 GB drive and more for the 128 GB one.

I would like to give some of my opinions and experiences of using this most beautiful very small security camera. I first bought one in 2013. I loved it very much because of this security camera's amazing beautiful picture quality, awesome color with clear video and good resolution. I also appreciate its ease of setup and value for money. Some users loved their inexpensive subscription for Loop video storage, but I did not use it. The camera performed extremely well during both day and night, I must give praise to its night vision capabilities. I got no functionality or connectivity issues. I could connect flawlessly to WiFi. Two weeks ago, I went to trip, came home found out the camera stop working but I also noticed Vimtag is having a huge sale 50% off, so I bought another one. This is a newer model works amazingly awesome. So I worked with their very tentative Vimtag support team. They are truly the best customer support team spent lots of time trying to help me debug my original camera. At end they shipped a replacement. I could not thank them enough. BTY, this tiny beauty got humongous punch. Check my picture to see how cute they are. I put my mid-size mittens behind it and a 12oz honey bottle for comparison. I use the Cameras to watch birds mating outside and babysit indoors, truly wonderful products to have or gift to friends or family members.

I really love this camera! Easy to set up and It’s honestly the only one I’ve tried that doesn’t reflect when placed near a window. other cameras always have that red night light reflection, but this one doesn’t, which is amazing. The video quality is also super clear, even at night. I’m really impressed with how sharp everything looks. Highly recommend!

I was a little doubtful that a camera at this price point ($10) would work very well, but I was pleasantly surprised when the camera arrived and I went to set it up. VERY easy to set up, quality is great, no problems whatsoever with the setup procedure. I'm using it for an outdoor feral cat house, and a few cats have actually visited. The camera is so small, the cats don't even pay it any attention, and the infrared works great at night. It doesn't have pan/tilt, but the lens covers the interior totally for a 180 degree view. Well worth the money, a quality product.

If you're looking for a cheap security camera, then I'm sure you don't care all too much about the Chinese government spying on your private activities. I know I don't, so on with my brutally honest review. The camera itself hardware wise is almost PERFECT for what I need it to do. Basically, I had a package stolen from me. Nobody around us has any cameras. Living on a main street in town, we were easy targets. But not anymore! I purchased this indoor/outdoor use camera with the intent of using it outdoors at first. But upon receiving and examining, this thing definitely isn't theft proof at all. It has a screw hole to mount it to a wall, but it's clearly meant to hold the camera up not re-enforce it. One hard tug and it'd rip right off without a doubt. If you're relying on local SD storage like I am because you don't wanna pay for cloud, then if the thief is really smart and can just make off with the SD card and you're left with 0 evidence. So with that being said, my outdoor camera suddenly decided to be an indoor one that sits on the window frame, pointing at the front porch. Not ideal, but it'll work for porch pirates YAAARG. When using a camera pointed out the window, it'll work great in the day time. You'll have some window glare, but with a little adjustments here and there you'll be able to make it work just fine. Night time is where it'll need some configuration. By default, IR is enabled. The camera depends on IR for night time clarity. However, IR also reflects off windows thus rendering the camera blind due to window glare. The solution? Disable IR all together. I was EXTREMELY surprised at the performance of this camera at night without IR. It is CLEAR! Way clearer than Yi & Wyze. I can make out every detail without much problems. As mentioned, we live on a busy street with some street lights and cars constantly going by. It isn't what I'd call super bright, but it's illuminated at night. Without exaggerating this camera can see better than I can at night which is a win in my book. Now on to the not so great thing... The app. The achilles heel. First off, if you want phone notifications they can be setup but it's lacking. It works for movement, but human detection is rubbish. I wouldn't depend on it. Secondly (my biggest gripe), when I want to view my recorded video I can apply filters to the stream to help me identify moments of interest (movements/detections) but for the love of God I can't figure out why the developers didn't include a fast-forward/reverse feature. You have to sit there manually skipping through a however many hours feed hoping you don't miss anything in-between skipping. Why? They really could've added this ease of life feature. Overall aesthetics are lacking too which doesn't give an overall great feeling. I feel like I'm using an app from 2008. Please polish the UI and add some quality of life features! Overall, this isn't a terrible buy. But I've decided to go with Wyze and will be returning this some time soon soley because Wyze just offers a much better app experience with proper working notifications. The trade off? The overall clarity is only half of what this baby gets. Not being able to quickly review your camera footage and events within the app is just a deal breaker for me, and overall if the app was just a bit better I'd put these all over. Hopefully they continue to polish the app, because this camera truly does a great job. It's only crutch is the unintuitive software and maybe fragile stand.

I’m very happy with this camera upgrade from Wyze. It was easy to use and it’s very clear. Only issue I have is receiving 6 digit code for password retrieval but it’s ok I stored it. This was a great value and I plan to buy more as I swipe out my Wyze cameras.
