At that altitude, I've read, the pests that bother tea are not a problem, since they don't live that high up. Thus, Safari tea is grown without the use of pesticides, which I like. The taste of the tea is great: strong and yet mellow, I think a bit musky. The loose tea is not "leaf tea" in the sense that it looks like leaves. It appears to be leaves rolled into little balls. So I buy brew sacks, 100 to a pack for about $10, to brew a cup of tea without tea debri that gets through a tea screen being left in the bottom of the cup. I vary the strength to get the amount of caffeine I desire at the moment. The caffeine seems to be lower rather than higher in this brand, but I like that, and the taste is full bodied. This is my favorite tea, Safari loose.

Best loose leave tea
Best loose leave tea !!! Strong and flavorful.

Nonplussed
I had high hopes for this tea. It is a good price, but for some reason I was expecting high quality Kenyan tea. I was not impressed with the taste and will not be ordering again.
