Great push chair for including adult sized special needs son in outdoor activities.
I have an 18 year old special needs son that likes to go with his sister and myself when we go for a run. Since he has grown a lot in the past 18 years we have not been able to take him with us for the last few years. We had a hard time finding a chair that fit our needs and didn't break the bank. When I found this chair on Amazon I was cautiously optimistic that he would be comfortable and it would be easy on this old guy to push. He seems to be comfortable riding even on rough ground and it is pretty easy to push. We have put just over 100 miles on it since we got it and it still looks pretty good. While putting it together, my wife and I thought that it was going to be really flimsy and end up breaking. The reason we thought this is because the frame twists a bit while pushing it. I don't know if it was designed to be this flexible, but it actually makes it easier to turn while running (wide turns around curves, you still need to tip it back to make a sharp turn like all joggers). My son is 5' 10" with a 32" inseam and weighs about 115 pounds. He fits pretty well, but with his long legs it would be nice if the foot rest was a little farther out. My wife sat in it (she is a little shorter) and her legs fit pretty good. It comes with two sets of front wheels. The single wheel with a hand brake and also four wheels that turn like a normal stroller. The turning wheels are awesome for going to the zoo or just a walk around the town. There is a nice sized mesh pouch on the back with a zippered pocket above that holds my cell, wallet, and keys. The area under the seat is also nice for carrying stuff that you need when out and about. It folds down to a nice size. It fits in the back of a mini-van if the back seats are folded down into the floor. I do not think it would fit in a compact car trunk. With the wheels on (they pop off with the push of a button) I can't fit it through any of my house doors.

Life saving chair for my special needs adult
The chair was pretty easy to assemble and took us about 20 mins to complete. My son has cerebral palsy and he is 22 yrs old, almost 6feet and 140lbs. He fits the chair pretty well although the foot rests make him appear to be squished. The frame is sturdy and he doesnt complqin about any discomfort so i assume he is comfy. It is huge so we only use it outdoors for walks. It collapses pretty easy and i love the front wheel options! Highly recommend for special needs that cant walk long distances or at all.

Overall great product!
I love that it comes with two sets of wheels. One set for walking/running in areas with few tight turns. The other set for tighter turns like grocery store, mall or very congested areas. Works well with most terrains. The only negatives I found were 1)the width for the shoulder area. My husband is 6’ and 185lbs. Wears a 44 jacket. If he sits up straight, the shoulder area is very tight for him. 2)It’s also not easy for him to get into or out of. He approaches from the side with assistance to get in and from the front to get out. For perspective, he can’t walk or move without assistance. All that said, he loves to ride in it and overall finds it comfortable. We’ve signed up for a half marathon(walking). This adaptive stroller has been accepted in the races we’ve participated in. In my opinion, it’s well worth the price.

Highly recommend.
I bought this in January of 2024, I’m writing this review October 2025. This stroller is holding up strong. I’m very impressed. I purchased this for my autistic son (8 years old/ 70 lbs) who out grew traditional strollers, this has a hugging/ hammock feel, which calms my son right away. We love this and take it everywhere. It is jumbo in size and takes up the two seats / trunk of our Prius, but we don’t mind because we know it will hold our kiddo as he grows. There are even times when his full grown siblings ride in the stroller with him for fun and it till hold strong. I highly recommend this.

Love the Freedom Chair
I ordered the Advanced Mobility Push Chair for my daughter who is 21 years old. I am please with the ease of use. It is light weight and maneuvers well. It fold up fairly easy and fits into the back of my SUV well. My daughter has a heavy, form fitting wheelchair/posture chair but taking her out in it, limits me to a large vehicle with a handicapped lift. This chair gives me options for other vehicle use, such as taxi's or riding with friends. That can be extremely handy when we fly to Seattle for specialty doctors and need to rent a car to get to and from appointments. This chair is much easier for me to get out and walk around the neighborhood with my daughter which is a freedom I find particularly physically and emotionally important. I love the canopy cover as she is tilted back and looks skyward, the sun isn't in her eyes. The large tires handle a rougher terrain. When ordering I was concerned with the seating height but it turned out to be just right. One down side I found is the material is a little rough and I need to pad the sides where the back of her hands contact the fabric. Her skin is especially delicate though. Over all this is exactly what I have been looking for for years.

Well worth it!
We love, love, love this chair. My son is 19 and has pretty severe autism. Going for walks with him were never really any exercise for me as we went very slowly and investigated lots of things on the way. Needing to get some exercise I decided to splurge and give this "man stroller" as we call it a try. It is awesome!! He is 5ft 9 in and fits--not much room to spare though. It comes with two sets of front wheels, the running stroller type that I found unwieldy and regular stroller type wheels which are much easier. Whenever I tell him it's time to go walking he jumps up and grabs his iPad and heads for the door. We both love it! We have had it a couple of months now and it is holding up really well so far.
