Originally purchased to fix the edge of a marble vanity top. Repair was done in 2 applications to fill the chip then smooth the surface. The material was tacky when mixed. Used only a speck of black pigment to get the color right for the marble veins. It sanded down beautifully and covered the repair with a ceramic coating to add protect it from staining and blend with polished marble. Used it to fix a chip in porcelain tile also. Good product.

The resins supplied work well. The heated spatula is a bit awkward to use due to its shape and being required to press a button to provide heat. A shape more like a soldering iron would be helpful and allow a finer application of the resins.

I was skeptical at first on the reviews that I read about on how well it worked. After reading the instructions AND mixing the #1 and #2 compounds together (thoroughly) as instructed, it amazed me on how well it blended (you must practice on the color mix BEFORE you put it on a sink). Very effective in blending and filling in the deep scratch or manufacturing mishap that came with our sink. A little sanding the next day along with some polish (not included in the kit) as the final step, gives excellent results.

I used this repair kit for some damaged areas around my countertop opening and overall I think it works pretty well. After it fully cured, the material became very hard and solid, almost like real stone or marble. It feels durable and doesn’t stay soft or rubbery like some cheaper fillers. The biggest challenge for me was the color matching. The kit includes different pigments, but it still took a lot of trial and error to get close to the granite pattern and tones. If your countertop has mixed colors or detailed textures, expect to spend some time blending and testing small amounts first. Other than that, the repair itself bonded nicely and helped improve the appearance a lot. For the price, I think it’s a useful kit, especially for small chips, cracks, or installation mistakes.

A very effective DIY product—after following the instructions, I got professional-looking results. I repaired a hole in a cultured marble vanity, and the repair was invisible after application. I also used a polisher with rubbing compound, and the vanity looks brand new!
