This directly solves the pressure issue without the need for tools or the mess of bleeding the hose. It’s rare to see a company listen to technical feedback and provide a hardware solution. I’m looking forward to putting this tool back to work. Original review: I bought the Bravex Heavy Duty Grease Gun to replace a misplaced unit. While the tool feels durable, the user experience is ruined by a major design flaw: the coupler frequently locks onto zerk fittings and won't release. ​The manufacturer’s solution, found in the instructions, is incredibly impractical: ​"After the grease work, it's not easy for the users to remove the coupler from the zerk fitting till the pressure inside the hose/tube is released. Unscrew the flex hose's fitting a little to release the pressure, then remove coupler from the zerk fitting." ​This requirement makes a simple task tedious. You shouldn’t need to carry a wrench and loosen the hose every time you want to disconnect the gun. Furthermore, bleeding the pressure this way is messy, as grease escapes and leaks everywhere. ​Verdict: It’s a solid piece of hardware, but the workflow is a "pain." Unless you replace the stock coupler with a quick-release version, expect a slow and messy job.

This Bravex grease gun helped me to make quick work of a chassis /U-joint lube job on my truck. I had never used a grease gun before but wanted to DIY the job as it seemed simple enough. If you have basic mechanical skills, you can watch some videos, read the instructions, and get up and running with a tube of Red and Tacky in minutes. Without getting into all the details, this heavy duty gun helped a lot with tight seals, solid build quality and strong pressure without leaks. Air bubbles and difficult Zerk fittings can be managed with the design features of this tool and some free online advice. Glad I bought the Bravex for its strength and simplicity.

This is not a bad grease gum for the price. I give it a 4 star because of the cap. If you buy this, go ahead and buy a new cap to put on it. It is a beast to release it from the zerk fitting. I fought to get it the first zerk fitting and it broke the head off on the second one. Be prepared for a fight if you go through with using the original cap.

My 1st grease gun. “Lis H” has a great YouTube tutorial on how to put it together. Loaded a tube of Lucas red and tacky, and attached to zerk fitting on driveshaft u joints. 3 pumps later was trying to remove the zerk coupler and it refuses to disengage. Had to unscrew coupler to remove from fitting. I did not read all the reviews. Seems the stuck coupler is a problem with the Bravex grease gun. Which is really a shame. The rest of the tool is well made. I just need to buy a third party coupler to use it. Not happy about that. Update: seller replaced with a quick release. Happy that seller fixed the problem. Excellent customer service.

It worked for 10 pumps and then lost prime and I couldnt get it to work after that. Leaked the entire time I used it. This is the kind of crap that needs to be banned from sale. When you need a tool it at least has to do its job poorly. This is worse than 90's tools from Harbor Freight. Plunger released on its own launching grease out. I want you to go bankrupt for producing such garbage.

I purchased this Bravex Heavy Duty Pistol Grip Grease Gun but could never get it to prime properly. I stuck it away for a long period of time, and just gave up trying to use it. I recently came across it again in my tool box and again tried to get it to prime,,NO GO again! I wrote to the company and asked if I was doing something wrong? The response I got was totally unexpected! "We understand your problem and want to make it right for you. We will send you a total replacement unit"! It had been over three years, but this company stands behind their product 100%. Yes They did send a FREE replacement and it works beautifully! Even after a 2 year warranty period expires, if it is a legit issue and not customer neglect, they will take care of you. Thank you Bravex, you do have a great product!

This being my fourth purchase of a grease gun, have to say it pays not to buy cheap. works great loads of pressure. very easy to fill and bleed out air, i did put on a aftermarket coupler to one i know and trust, never tested one it came with

This Grease Gun doesnt take 450g cartridges. Nowhere in description doesnt say what kind of cartridges takes so I had to buy different one for 450g cartridges that I would like to use. This is a small gun and I think it takes 400g cartridges. It looks good quality but I couldnt use it because my cartridges dont fit. They should put this in description. Thank you

Grease works well and very easy to load new grease tubes. Ease of use and pistol grip makes it less difficult to apply grease compared to older style grease guns. Worth the money.
