Read warnings about how messy it can be. Opened is super careful and minimal mess. Mica colors themselves are not representative of their color once mixed in with the solution-- they were much brighter and more pink in powder form. I relied on description "maroon, bubblegum pink, etc." to get a sense of base color and impact. I ended up mixing to get the color I wanted for a tinted lip balm. Very happy with the outcome!

The packages are small but there is a lot of powder in each package. This is a great lot of samples. I recommend Marblers for all pigment needs.

Absolutely love these colorants. The color payoff is incredible. They are rich, vibrant, and beautifully pigmented even with a very small amount of product. A little truly goes a long way, which makes them very efficient for batch work. The shimmer is stunning and gives such a luxurious, eye-catching finish. They disperse well and create smooth, consistent color without needing much effort. Overall, they’re extremely satisfying to work with, especially because you don’t need to use much to achieve strong, shimmery results. Definitely a great choice if you want bold color and beautiful sparkle in your creations.

Beautiful colors

The mica was great. My only complaint is the packaging. I realize This is a sample set, and you get a good amount of mica in each color. However, the mica just flies out into the atmosphere every time the package is opened, no matter how careful you try to be. I had so much mica on me I shined like the characters in Twilight. I really like the mica, and give it 5 stars, the packages are frustrating and get zero stars. My advise is to buy it in bottles with lids.
