Great quality, easy to use, and delicious coffee!
I’ve been using this coffee maker daily (sometimes multiple times a day) for about a year now, and I’m super happy with it! -> Simple & Reliable: No unnecessary extra features, making it very straightforward to use and clean. -> Great Performance: Heats up quickly, makes delicious coffee, and froths milk really well for great foam. -> Quality: Built well and holds up great for daily use. Minor Drawbacks: —— It is quite noisy during operation. —— The print/symbols on the machine have rubbed off slightly from daily use. Overall, despite these minor things, it's a wonderful machine for me and I highly recommend it!

Performance and Quality
The coffee machine is amazing. It’s very compact, easy to use. I would say the temperature control system works great. I would definitely recommend it!

Nicest coffee machine you will ever buy!
This coffee machine is hands down the best I’ve ever owned. I was a bit sceptical about the price but it was on promotion so I was lucky! It’s definitely worth it. It’s light and doesn’t bounce when you lift the handle. The water capacity could be bigger but it’s fine as I’m the only coffee drinker here. I love the pod-adjustable feature for multi-functionality though ground coffee is farrrrrr superior! It also looks great in my kitchen and the coffee gets really hot so I can make it first and then have breakfast. It’s perfect for enjoying a hot drink while I eat. Plus it’s super easy to clean! I highly recommend it and I’m super pleased!

Great starter machine – with a little upgrade, it’s a proper café at home
Stylish, compact, and makes a solid espresso straight out of the box – this little De'Longhi is a cracking entry into the world of manual coffee machines. The 15-bar pressure gives a decent crema, and the milk frother does a lovely job for cappuccinos or lattes. BUT – if you really want to fall in love with it, do yourself a favour and get a bottomless portafilter and a 4-cup basket. The one it comes with is fine for casual use, but the upgrade lets you brew stronger, smoother shots with much better flow and less fuss. It really brings the machine to life. ☕️ Pros: – Lovely retro green colour – looks great on the counter – Compact but powerful enough – ESE pod compatible for lazy days – Frother actually works (unlike many budget machines) – Auto shut-off is a nice touch ⚠️ A note for coffee geeks: You’ll outgrow the included portafilter quickly if you’re aiming for barista-style coffee. But for the price? It’s still an excellent bit of kit. Would I buy it again? Yes. But I'd get the bottomless portafilter at the same time next time.

Good deal but machine is faffy
It's cheap, and unfortunately the issues are many. Starting with.... Coffee temperature is a lukewarm 63 degrees, I get that it is so you do not "burn " the coffee, but, when you have to mess around with the milk frother, it becomes an issue. We used a temperature gauge, using the frother, the green light ON. The first hit with the frother took the milk to 33 degrees, and then, wait until the green light was on again, then, froth again. The temperature goes up in 17 degree increments. So after 4 uses of the frother, the coffee is now less than 50 degrees, and the milk at 80 degrees, you lose temperature as you are now pouring the hot milk onto cold coffee.. Unfortunately, this is definitely not acceptable, and, by the time you've made 2 cups of coffee, you've just wasted over 10 minutes of your life. Then, to empty the coffee grinds, you follow the instructions, and "tap tap", and the whole unit (portafilter) that you put the coffee into, falls out into the bin. EVERY TIME. The handle,(basket) that you turn to lock the coffee into the machine, you have to be a body builder to turn this as its so tight, you can barely lock it in position. The milk frother, you must NOT follow the user instructions at this point, if you do, you end up with milk inside the frother pipe, which if left is going to be very unhygienic. You really need to take the pipe off and wash it, then, clean the unit itself. Yes it's a good black Friday deal, BUT, it's not a good machine in so many ways, which is a shame as it does make a good, if lukewarm coffee.

The best basic compact coffee machine for frothy coffee!
After working in hospitality serving frothy coffees and enjoying making them, I thought it was time I owned my very own coffee machine to make special frothy coffees at home! After a lot of researching to find the best basic coffee machine that fulfilled my needs, this one ticked all the boxes! It's neat, compact and easy to use. It comes with instructions and shows diagrams of how to set it up for the first time and takes minutes to clean too! It makes perfect frothy coffees and only takes about 5 minutes to wait to use the machine too! It makes one coffee in a decent size mug or two mini mugs at the same time. The only downside with this coffee machine is that a big mug won't fit on top of the drip tray when attaching the portafilter to the machine but you can easily remove the drip tray so not a problem. And the drip tray does come apart into layers so it's one less thing to wipe after using anyway. I have made teas and hot chocolates too using the steam wand, after finding out you can when reading the booklet, but the water has a plastic aftertaste so I make teas and hot chocolates using the kettle instead. Having the steam wand is the main reason for buying this particular machine to get frothy milk which as you can see in the photos has excellent results! It's great to add frothy milk to hot chocolates, chai teas to make chai lattes and for frothy coffee of course! If you are looking for a nice looking coffee machine that fits in your kitchen, creates special frothy coffees easily, then look no further! I have tried lavazza ground coffee for this machine. It's ok but found it's quite bitter, so won't need much coffee ground in one scoop. I would definitely recommend you buy this machine if you want that barista experience! All my family and friends love it! Now I enjoy making coffee in the morning :D I hope that De'Longhi continue to make such reliable coffee machines!

Delighted in this psale green machine for our new kitchen
The machine arrived on time and in perfect condition. The instructions are indeed mostly pictorial but a little thought has it almost completely cracked. The first use failed to produce a flow of hot water and it took some rocking about and removing the water reservoir to help prime the pump. Now it's no problem. The rocker mains switch on the side has puzzled some people but as long as the wall socket is on, the green indicator light comes ON with one press of the switch. Rocking the switch again switches off the machine. Obviously it is relay controlled and will also time out after not being used for a while (great!) I find the coffee temperature just right. I was concerned that it might not be hot enough after my old machine which had a pressurised water boiler which pretty much scalded the coffee. The milk frother works much better and the overall effect is a distinctly nicer coffee. All our visitors say so. However, it took me a while to work out how to get just hot water. The removable drip tray is useful. The noise of the pump doesn't bother me, even though it is noisier than my old 'boiler type'. It doesn't last long and the advantage is that I don't have to keep stopping to let the boiler cool so I can refill it after only two ‘flat whites’. Any narks? Well, we are used to fairly strong coffee and the larger of the two filters will take no more than two standard measures so I can’t produce two strong espressos at the same time. I wonder if a finer grind might allow me to pack in more coffee and still work (I was using a coarser grind to prevent clogging of the old machine). I can't wait for the excuse for another coffee. Oh and the metal top gets warm with use so I dry off the implements after use, as well as the cleaning cloth used to mop up any spills. I am delighted so far.

Okay machine, unreliable milk frother
The coffee machine worked okay, but the milk frother was unrealiable - it sometimes just wouldn't work at all, which was really frustrating. We ended up returning the machine as it didn't work as expected. The coffee part worked well, but the milk frother could be better.

Best coffe machine
This is an absolute wonderful machine, i have it already for 1.5 years and it is like day one. I just love how creamy the coffe is even after such a long time used EVERY DAY, sometimes more than 2 coffe/day. As long as you know how to use it and choose the right coffe, it cant go wrong. Also i had Delonghi around the house for ages so i know that they are made to last!!

Pretty good
The first shipment I received was opened, so I asked for a replacement. I like the machine. My parents 20 year old machine broke and they wanted a replacement, and this one is very similar to their old one. I really like the removable tank. I also like how small it is. For whatever reason, the dimensions aren't written here, but my father was able to find them on the company website.

Perfekt

Consigliata
