the label says starch syrup If you look at the description of the product it shows the ingredients so I would not dare say it is safe

Excellent for sore throat and cough

I got these for my husband when he was dealing with a cough.It tasted good and was helpful in alleviating his cough and sore throat.He has used it in the past as well and was helpful.Great value for money.He did not have any side effects or issues.Good texture.I also got Ricola for my mother in law after she was incubated for surgery and had a sore throat.She said one Ricola and she was completely better.Would buy again and would highly recommend.
