This is the best surf spray I’ve ever used. My hair is very straight, fine, and soft, and doesn’t normally hold waves if I use a curling iron or braid it. But my favorite way to wear my hair in the summer now is to dampen it with water using a spray bottle, then spray this sea salt spray all over it, and wear it in two French braids all day. Then at night, I take it out and have a full head of waves. Sometimes it can even be a bit too wavy the same night, but if I sleep on it, I wake up with excellent, natural looking waves. And I LOVE the smell. It’s much more pleasant than the extremely strong Ouai scent, and has a lovely, suntan oil and salt scent. I also find that it doesn’t dull my hair’s shine the way other sprays like Bumble and Bumble do. I suck at doing my hair, and this product makes it easy.

Works pretty well, dries very quickly and leaves hair looking great. However, taking a star off for the scent. Smells kind of like old lady perfume, it isn’t bad but would be perfect without it. Also the price isn’t great.

I have very fine hair and hereditary hair loss. Products weigh my hair down and go flat within minutes. My hair will not hold a curl. I'm a hot mess :) I have tried everything to style my hair so I wasn't expecting much. I went with this particular one because it worked for thinning hair as suggested by hair care professionals. I was very pleasantly surprised!! I curled my hair with a Bed Head clipless wand.I had body and fullness, didn't look greasy or dirty and shut the front door it held my curls all fricking day while dancing around at a pool party in the heat! This spray will also " reactivate " if you wet your hands and scrunch your curls. It also had a pleasant beachy smell. I'm so glad I got this spray. I don't normally write reviews but anyone with my type of hair knows the pain of spending so much time trying to fake a great head of hair only for it to fall flat or lose you curl before you get out the door. This stuff works:)

Smells good...but mine leaked and Amazon wants me to go through a huge hassle to have it replaced.. so not gonna bother. Too small for the price and to have a quarter of it leaked out as well. Doesn't weigh hair down. Not sticky. Which is good.

Works great has a mild hold to help style hair . I put it in fresh out the shower with damp hair . Style and let air dry (you can blow dry if desired) then after drying I run a wide tooth comb through to loosen and make look more natural. If my hair isn't working for me I add some pomade (bumble and bumble sumoclay is the brand) for a bit more hold , but rarely do I do that . If you want to restyle your hair a bit add water to your hands and run through hair to get refreshed look.

I've tried a lot of different salt sprays in order to add a little texture to my hair. I have short-medium hair, and this works better than any other spray I've tried. Frankly, they tend to be fairly similar, but this one lasts a long time without creating any crunchiness or stiffness in the hair. If I have any complaint, it's that the color looks a bit unnatural, but I'm not sure whether it uses any dyes (I would be surprised). It has a light, pleasant beach scent (which means that yes, it does smell somewhat like salt!)

Love the product but the bottle was leaking when delivered.

I am over 65 with fine ,thinning hair. I ordered Sachajuan Ocean Mist after buying the shampoo and conditioner. All I can say is WOW! My hair styles so much better when I use this product. Even 2 day after use my hair looks thicker and has increased height and volume especially on top. Hair sprays, mousse and gel flatten my hair and make it appear limp. The Sachajuan Ocean Spray is a definite bargain. My hair looks amazing.

Es un muy buen producto , desde la primera aplicación se siente la calidad , desafortunadamente , llegó con un desgaste notable , evidentemente fue en el trayecto y a pesar de encintar , se tiró producto , no lo devolvi porque es más tardado el proceso, si lo volvería a comprar pero no con este proveedor.

I’ve had problems with my hair staying up. I put this product on my hair and I was able to style it perfectly. Be sure to use a blow dryer.

Its not only small but also not efficient at all. Very poor quality

The bottle is mini, but it’s good stuff and a little goes a long way. Smells nice.

Small bottle for the price. Saw a hairdresser using it on YouTube but didn’t work so well for me. Made my hair dull but I loved the smell!
