good for cutting calories while satisfying sugary soda fix
Love it. Has caffeine and some sugar plus sucralose. Almost as good as the real sugary pepsi but at 30% of the calories. I did have 1 bottle that sat unopened for a few years, and I think the synthetic sugar in it broke down (as it tends to do) and the result tasted off. When making it "fresh", its fine. So I would say to use this product right away and don't let it sit too long, like most diet products

Amazing Flavor and a Money Saver!
These SodaStream Pepsi Beverage Mixes are an absolute game-changer! Being able to make my own Pepsi at home is not only convenient but also saves me a ton of money—I no longer have to keep buying packs or two-liters every few weeks. When they were temporarily unavailable on Amazon, I was genuinely disappointed and even stocked up from other retailers just in case. I’m so glad they’re back and now a regular part of my subscription. A heads-up: the flavor is noticeably sweeter than regular Pepsi, likely due to the sweeteners instead of corn syrup, but I actually prefer it this way. If you love Pepsi and own a SodaStream, these are a must-have!

New container design and price change
I've bought the pepsi four pack for SodaStream on three different occasions here in the past year. It came in a wide mouth bottle with a big lid. The directions were to fill up syrup to a line on the cap and pour in glass. When you put the cap on afterwards, extra syrup would run down the side of the bottle. Even if you didn't fill the cap, the lid would still capture syrup from the inner neck and result in syrup on the outside of the bottle. I repurposed a syrup bottle and would transfer the Pepsi syrup to the glass syrup bottle and pour from that. So I 100% understand and agree that the wide mouthed bottles were not designed well. I'd have syrup under the bottle all the time, it was a mess. But the syrup was great, tasted like Pepsi but with less calories, sort of a hybrid calorie wise between regular and diet, but the taste more of regular. (Apparently it uses sucralose (splenda) to partially replace the sugar for some reason connected to shipping and density of the product. Last time I purchased the 4 pack it was $18. Fast forward to last month. I went to reorder, and the price was now $28 for 4! And the bottles had been redesigned. They now look like regular Pepsi bottles, no longer wide mouth. I tried to order the old style at the old price, but they sent me the new style bottle. The new style of bottle looks so much like a regular drinking Pepsi bottle that I had to tell my kids not to drink it directly, that it was syrup for the sodastream. It does say sodastream on it but otherwise it is the size of a small bottle of Pepsi and the label matches the drinking Pepsi. Although the ingredient list is identical to the old wide mouthed bottle, and the nutritional info is the same, it does not seem identical. I noticed it was more watery and requires about twice as much syrup as I used to use. I thought I was imagining it but others in my household commented the same, that it is not as sweet as the old syrup. Unless the label nutrition info gets updated, I will assume that it's just seems different, but the syrup is being used faster as we are using more to get the same sweetness that we remembered. I have seen comments of people who miss the old measuring lid but I think the redesign is much better. I don't have to transfer to a different bottle to prevent syrup all over the counter. However, the new stuff seems less sweet AND it costs $10 more ($28) than the old wide mouthed 4-pack. The net contents remain unchanged, so it's about a 60% price increase, here and elsewhere. I am giving 4 stars as the old style lid was a mess but the new formula or constency seems different.
