100 Color by Number Mysteries: White-Background Edition – A Coloring Book for Adults Relaxation and Wonder – Squares, Diamonds, Dots (Pixelcolorist Quest)

If you enjoy color-by-number books, this one is a lot of fun. The mystery images gradually appear as you color, which keeps it interesting and makes it hard to put down. The white-background pages are easy on the eyes, and the designs offer a nice balance of challenge and relaxation.My only complaint is that the paper is fairly thin. If you’re using alcohol markers or anything that tends to bleed through, you’ll definitely want to place an extra sheet of paper behind the page. Acrylic markers worked much better for me with minimal issues.Overall, this is a great color-by-number book for anyone who enjoys relaxing, puzzle-style coloring and uncovering hidden pictures as they go.

This is a lovely book, like others have said it’s relaxing and the perfect “analog” way to unwind. Be sure to visit the author’s website, he always has sample pages and has a nice newsletter too.My only complaint is that so many of the pictures have blue backgrounds. I’m loathe to do pages that have tons of G and H at the top. This is my first foray into coloring with glitter gel pens. So I bought a huge collection of glitter pens that came with refills. Didn’t really think it through!So I’ve burned through the blues and their refills and now I need to buy more…I will say there is a nice guide that you can download that gives suggestions for some brands. So it’s been a bit of a learning curve for me. I’ll stick with it though because it’s good, tactile, and a way to be creative.

Adult color by number is a great relaxing activity. Fun to see the designs come to life.

My way to decompress is coloring, but I hate figuring out what to color things. I love that this tells me what to do but I get to decide which colors best fit the art medium I am wanting to use!

1. The squares (or dots and diamonds) are large enough that I can actually see them and the numbers/letters inside are also large enough and just dark enough for me to see also!!!2. Each image has taken me approximately 1 hour to complete. That makes this about 100 hours of fun!3. There is a nice variety of images, so the images really are a mystery.4. They only list the colors you need to complete an image alongside the image (instead of the whole list of all colors).5. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the paper. It's comparable to the cheapest copy paper you'd find in a printer. Not a big deal since these are not masterpieces, but this is the kind of thing I like to use inexpensive water-based markers to complete, so the poor paper isn't the best for these types of markers, but it works. At least one step up to some better paper would just be nice.

I love this book, its addicting. My friend got the black background book and was going through so many black markers that I went with white background instead and im glad I did. I love the mystery and guessing what it is as I am coloring, my friends and i are all doing mystery books and send pictures to our group chat to guess eachothers. I use alcohol markers and they do bleed right through the paper so you need to put something cardstock thickness or more if using those. I used a folder and cut it slightly smaller than the papers size and its working great. The different shapes are appreciated. I had an all square book and it was getting tiring, so its a nice change having different shapes. Overall im impressed with this book. I hope that more are released like this one with the white background because I'd buy it.

I found out about these books before holidays of 2025 because my sister-in-law requested one for Christmas. After hers arrived and I flipped through it, I wanted one for myself. It traveled with me on vacation and was one of the best things I could’ve brought with me – it kept me entertained on the plane and at night while relaxing before bed. Sometimes I’ll finish an entire page in one sitting, sometimes I’ll do 2-3 colors and then stop for a while – I like that it doesn’t feel rushed or unfinished, the way other coloring books or pages do.

Really fun at first, until I realized how repetitive the colors and designs are. I would have liked more variety in images. They are still good for keeping my hands busy while watching TV, or relaxing in the evening, but they use the same colors so much that I have about 5 markers from a new set totally out of ink while the others are all still perfect. I'm still using the book but a lot less so it doesn't feel as repetitive.

This book deserves a review.I am thoroughly enjoying this book 2 pictures in.The book is super thick with 100 pictures to colour making it great value for money.At the start of the book is a page for you to do your colour palette and giving space to Swatch various types of mediums. The colour palette numbers also follow the book and relate to each picture throughout.This book is perfect for acrylic paint pens, gel pens or pencils - my photos show the book so far done with acrylics and the bold colours work well in this book.Despite it's simple design which doesn't make it overwhelming for someone who wants a relaxing colour by numbers experience, the book in my opinion provides good detail with the colour shades to make the images pop and look fab! Endless opportunities to add your own touches of creativity too such as glitter pens etc.The paper quality is good for a book of this size when using appropriate and quality colours. My acrylic pens havent chewed up the paper at all.I saw reviews of people mentioning their colours bleed through - if deciding to use water based pens or alcohol markers, bleed through is very likely and yes it will "ruin" the colour codes for the picture on the opposite side/back of previous page but you can always refer to the colour palette at the beginning of the book if this is your chosen medium - just remember to put some thick paper or card between the pages so you don't ruin the next picture. This is common with any colouring book when using alcohol markers.There's a black and white index page at the book which does give away the pictures to colour but otherwise, if you don't look at this, the images are a fab surprise as you colour.There is a variety of animals, people, objects and scenery and is designed with either squares, dots or diamonds to colour.I am enjoying this book thoroughly and have gone on to purchase the other edition with black pages. For someone who loves a colour by numbers mystery book - this one is Fantastic, Relaxed and detaied all in one.Hope this review helps someone else who may be on the fence with this book.😊👍🏽
