Tastes like an early Joe Weider formula I used to favour. However there is no vanilla taste to this product at all which is very disappointing. Guess I'll be stuck with ordering the one without vanilla next time.

I chose this because I was conscious that I was eating artificial sweeteners 7-days a week with my usual protein powder on my breakfast of fruit and nut muesli… but flavouring my cereal with the distinct taste of mushy peas is a step too far 🤢

Tasted horrible, gritty and powdery. I found it hard to drink and digest even mixed with berries and almond milk etc and feel like I wasted my money

this item has no other ingredients but what is on the label. clean, pure pea protein, with no lead ( google for yourself, how many pea and whey protein mixes have high residual amounts of heavy metals, lead and Cadmium.) the flavour is not sweet at all. so I added very ripe banana and blueberries, as well as 2 teaspoons of stevia. it then tastes like a milkshake . very impressed that the 5 lb container = 61 servings!! a previous pea protein that i had used for the last 2 years, barely gave me 9 or ten servings at a price of 25 dollars In conclusion, if you want clean protein, good taste with adding fruit and or spinach you will get a great tasting smoothie protein shake.

I’ll be honest — this is not the best tasting or easiest mixing protein out there. It’s a little grainy and takes some effort to shake properly. But that’s exactly why I bought it. This is one of the few proteins that is truly clean. No additives, no sweeteners, no weird ingredients — just straight pea protein. And if you’re trying to avoid all the extra stuff, that matters. Also, no emulsifiers or mixing agents. Most protein powders add those to make it dissolve easier and feel smoother, but they’re still extra processed ingredients your body has to deal with. They don’t add real nutritional value — they just improve texture and shelf life. Most “smooth” proteins are smooth because they add things to make them that way. This one doesn’t. So yeah, you give up a little convenience and texture… but you know exactly what you’re putting in your body. For me, that trade-off is worth it. If you want something clean and simple, this is a solid choice at least for me.

I really wanted to like this protein powder. The price is great, and the ingredient list is clean and simple, which I really appreciate. I also like that it’s plant-based, making it a good option for a variety of dietary preferences. However, the flavor just didn’t work for me. I actually thought I might have accidentally ordered the unflavored version at first because the vanilla taste is extremely mild and barely noticeable. It also has a slightly gritty texture, even when blended. That said, it does have some positives. It blends well in a smoothie without clumping, and I didn’t experience any digestive issues or stomach discomfort, which is important for me with protein powders. I’ve been using it in protein shakes, and while I’ll finish the container, I personally wouldn’t purchase it again due to the lack of flavor and texture. If taste isn’t a priority and you’re looking for a very clean, simple protein powder, this could still work for you.

For any of you raw dawging this with just water you are total beasts. While the vanilla 'flavor', as stated by another reviewer, has no discern-able vanilla taste compared to the unflavored its less of devils bargain taste wise. That said i usually add a healthy shaking of nutmeg and more recently cinnamon. i have never tried to shake mix, i always use a mixer and it blends up but doesnt completely disappear. For something that doesn't taste great it has no offensive odor, its easy to use two scoops'll do ya. After using this consistently for 4 years Ive never had any GI/ digestibility issues. feels like a decent value. If youre a vegan, youre used to a few trade off when it comes to the utilitarian use for protein and its taste; in certain circumstances. sak up and get these proteins in

It is somewhat as expected. Tastes like vega protein powder brand, but more bland. Can't even taste the vanilla in this, powder is quite fine very similar to corn starch which makes a mess. You will definitely need to mix this with some fruits or something sweet because it almost tastes like drinking liquid bread. Taste is 5/10, I didn't have high expectations because it's pea blend and has barely any ingredients which is what I wanted. This was quite heavy to drink, I felt more full drinking this versus drinking whey.
