Adore Semi Permanent Hair Color, 078 Rich Amber, 4 Fl Oz (2 Pack)

This was my first experience with the product and I was very pleasantly surprised. First, there is absolutely no smell so it doesn't stink up the house while you are using it which is a huge plus in my book! I ordered the Rich Amber to cover the white hairs in my dark brown hair and it worked beautifully! I'd say it had about a 95% coverage rate on the white hairs and the remaining 5% was probably just hairs that I missed. The Rich Amber made my white hairs a nice, brownish red color and gave a nice red tone to the rest of my hair which was great. Application was super easy - I mixed about 1/3 of a bottle with a couple tablespoons of my usual conditioner in a plastic cup (I have thick, mid-back hair and this was the perfect amount to cover everything) - and applied it to freshly washed and conditioned hair. I didn't wrap my hair or apply heat but I let it set for about twenty minutes and then shampooed and conditioned my hair again. Everything washed out cleanly and there was no residue on my light colored towel when I dried my hair. As a side note, this is not a kit, just the dye so you do need to provide your own disposable gloves and mixing cup if you choose to mix it with conditioner. I'd say it lasted about a week (5 washes) before it started to fade and about two weeks (10 washes) before it was gone completely and the white hairs were back to their normal color which I thought was quite good. Overall, this was easy to use, the color was great and covered well, and the fact that you can use one bottle for two or three applications makes it a great value. I highly, highly recommend this!

Seriously amazed at how vibrant the color is and how well it took to my hair! I can't speak for the lasting power as I just dyed it last night, but the process was easy and I was able to get all the color off with no staining. I'm not marking it down for this as everyone's hair is different, but I will say that some of the colors may not work for you as they have for others. First picture shows my natural color, which I would call an ashy dark blonde. I wanted to go for a dark brown so I ordered the color Mocha. Since I was gong to a darker brown from an ashy blonde, I read that yous hould first do a warmer color as a base to combat the green in the dark brown. I ordered the spiced amber - - going by the swatch, that looked like the closest to my natural color but just a bit warmer. Well, it turned out to be A LOT warmer. I used the entire bottle and just saturated my hair. Left it on for only 20 minutes. In the 2nd and 3rd photo, you can see that the Spiced Amber turned out looking more like the Ginger color on my hair. I hated it. I immediately followed with another shampoo, and then coated my hair with a combo of conditioner and the color Mocha. I used about 2/3 of the bottle for this. I left that on for 2 hours and the last 2 picture are the result. So obviously the base copper color was not needed here and when this all washes out, I'll just use mocha on its own. I like it more than my natural and I'm still very impressed with the priceand quality of this product! ***EDIT*** 12/19/2024 Knocking off 1 star. It's been months and unfortunately this stuff has not fully washed out as shown by last photo. My hair now seems to be this permanent dark blonde color. I guess it could be worse but I do detest the slight hint of green that I sometimes see in it. I think it's because I went with the dark brown color at one point. That was a mistake then as it looked horrible (Like the color of my poop after a night of drinking, lol!), and it remains a mistake as Ive never been fully able to get the green hue out. Just a bit of warning if you're a blonde and considering going dark with this product!

Initially I was skeptical about this semi-permanent color because of other reviews and online videos. I didn't think that the color would shine through my brunette/partially gray colored hair. To my surprise, it did and I am pleased. I followed the instructions verbatim and am loving the outcome. It didn't stain my body, clothing, or bedding and it appears to be lasting longer than other semi-permanent brands. I will purchase a few more bottles before year's end.

What a disappointment! My daughter colored my hair...and my walls and my bathtub. This stuff DRIPS,my floor looks like a murder seen. Then ,when I rinsed after letting it sit for 2 hours,my tub is ruined! It's a 4 year old tub and the tile on the wall i designed myself,it's ruined. I really didn't think it would stain that bad and was ready to clean it off immediately but no,it sucked right in and my hair is BARELY noticeable. WORST experience of my life

Ich mag die Tönungen von Adore sehr gern. Mein Haar ist blondiert und ich kann eigentlich oft mit den Tönungen entscheiden, welche Farbe ich gerade tragen möchte. Achtung, falls die Tönung nicht mit einer Spülung gemischt wird um einen helleren/pastelligen Ton zu erreichen, muss man auf jeden Fall Handschuhe nutzen.

This is a very nice hair colour. When I first used another colour I did not see results. I believe it's because I did not go under heat. This time I followed instructions and it worked like a charm. I am getting compliments daily. Of course you have to have light coloured hair also for it to work. Also the shine your hair gets is really lovely. Would recommend.
