Okay so originally I bought the “ARES WING Dual Monitor Arm Desk Mount for 17-49 Inch Ultrawide Monitors”, holy title, but anyways the pole/column was too short. I have a g9 49” and a specter 34”, so I needed something I could stack both with. Now the original ARES pole worked, but I have a MacBook Pro 16 inch, and it was too tall, and was covering the bottom of the g9. This because there wasn’t enough pole space to stack the monitors AND have my laptop open while no view was obstructed. This pole/column solved that, and I’m pretty happy now. The installation was okay, would be better if they used something easier like the ARES base, but it’s fine, you only install it once. It’s very sturdy as well. I’m using the ares wing arms for the actual monitor and they work well, the 35mm diameter matches perfectly and is well adjustable.

Got this so I could drill holes to attach it to my desk since no clamps would work with the type I have. Works perfectlywell with a heavy 27" monitor up high. Used one of the monitor arms from another monitor arm that I couldn't attach to my desk using a drill. I didn't use the clamps with this but, having used plenty of monitor arms in the past, I've no doubt they would do the job. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy, but the two screws underneath is a big inconvenient

Sturdy and very easy to assemble. The paint looks high quality as well as the mounts on the desk, they look bulky. Supports two 22inch screens easily.

Trying my best to organize my desktop setup . And I also wanted to raise my monitor over my laptop, so I purchased this pole. I have a extended mount for my monitor so this pole was all I need and it's holding up. Movement is accurate it holds well on my desk , with the right tools. Finally, this only took only 20 minutes to setup my setup and iis worth my $26 . Will buy another for work.

Intuitive installation, articulate, sturdy.

I have several monitor mounts/stands from Amazon and Ergotron. While I know there are other sizes, mine all use a de facto standard 35mm pole to mount the arms. This includes several wall mount arms I have. THIS ITEM IS JUST AN UPGRADED POLE FOR THESE MOUNTS. Not the whole mount. That seemed clear to me, but it does seem some customers didn't notice that. Almost everything advertised today seems to claim "heavy duty". It's usually not true. Not here. This pole and its base are seriously stout! I'm quite impressed. The brackets are stamped sheet metal, true, but they're thick and rigid. I mounted this arm to my 72" wide bench/desk and pulled on the top of the pole, and there was almost no detectable deflection before the whole bench (with a bunch of stuff on top) started rolling on its castors. This pole feels FAR stronger and more rigid than even the brand-name Ergotron pole I have. The base bracket is also adjustable for a huge variety of desk/bench thicknesses. Instead of a thumb wheel, it uses two screws and you use the included hex key to tighten the clamp. It clamps REALLY tight. I unmounted it from my butcher-block type bench (an adjustable Husky brand from Home Depot) after really tightening it down tight and testing the strength by pulling as described above, and it didn't leave any marks in the relatively soft wood top. There is a thin layer of hard rubber under the top part of the clamp, so it has just enough give to avoid marking your desk top, but not so much give that the pole moves around. Well designed, well made. I feel like it will outlive me. Not cheap, but for the strength, I'd say it's a good deal. (Prices change though, so still at least do some casual shopping around. But I'm not sure where you will find anything equivalently strong, or any cheaper.) If you need something like this, I recommend it without hesitation.

ORA SÌ!!! Avevo un supporto monitor Huahuo con braccia a molla, ma il palo era solo di 40cm e i 3 monitor rimanevano troppo bassi per averli (2) uno sopra l’altro. Ora è perfetto! La base è un po’ più larga della precedente, ma è veramente robusto e compatibile con i bracci in mio possesso. Consiglio! Pagato 19,9€
