The movie shows a glimpse of the sick world of human trafficking of girls, and governmental cover-up of the perpetrators like real life. Lou Diamond Phillips has a good actor, but, he should have studied combat vets a little more and he would have acted differently. Especially since he was supposedly a security contractor in the sandbox. In the time of Jeffrey Epstein, this is a good movie to try to wrap your head around what was happening, pay special attention to the very end and all the news reports.

This movie contains just about everything a movie has to contain today:Crude language, lesbianism, idiotic decisions, idiotic fight scenes, idiotic gun use, and melodramatic cinematic solutions, combined with a realistic ending, do not add up to good enterntainment.Of course, if you consider that after drug legalization, organized crime is now shifting to sex and organ trafficking, at least some viewers' attention is drawn to the predators. The police are usually involved and only take out the competition, which probably applies to the alphabet-soup agencies most of the time. At least, in this sense, the ending was realistic, if you care for that sort of thing.Moreover, this flick contains all the usual sentences, often out-of-context (simply because they are mandatory):1. "Are you all right?" is just about every single movie in the last 60 or 70 years.2. "Oh, my God!" from people, who do not believe in God.3. "Everything's gonna be fine." is not in every movie, but it is in most of them and it is there in this one.

A small brothel charging $200/customer and murdering truckloads of their own imported prostitutes apparently generates enough funding for hospitals, water treatment plants, a highly trained and expertly equipped SWAT style team, apparently top notch cyber security, and a fanatical lawyer willing to die for the cause. PU-LEASE. Insult to injury- the heavy handed, ridiculous corporate "clean up" at the end where some people are murdered while others somehow just go to jail makes no sense. This was a waste to watch.

I did like this movie, but I thought it was mediocre compared to many of the same type. The script did not flow. The acting was not the best. There is a lot of action. An average film with a great subject that can always use exposure.

Great B Movie of what is really going on around the world and no one really cares!

Compared to a lot of the trash that is available to watch with Prime, this movie obviously has a bigger budget, higher production values, and a star that is a competent actor.Unfortunately that all goes to waste. This movie seems like it wants not just to be an action movie, but also to inform the audience of the reality and misery of human trafficking. It is so poorly written though that it's hard to feel anything but irritated by the illogical situations and downright stupid behavior of pretty much every character. That unfortunately includes Lou Diamond Phillips' role. This might not have been so bad but the action takes frequent time outs for melodramatic moments, resulting in a plodding bore.

Der Film "Take Down" ist sehr gut und spannend, ***** aber leider nicht in echter 3D daher 1 Stern minus.

Einfach lachhaft der Streifen...keinen kann man ernst nehmen...wo haben sie denn diese Nulpen aufgegabelt...Spannung = Zero...Storyline total Banane...Drehbuch ein Witz...Actionszenen von Amateuren...Dialoge abgrundtief rudimentär...den Regisseur sollte man wegen Unfähigkeit verklagen...PFazit: Bloß die Finger von lassen!LG, Stw.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Lou scheint sein bestes zu geben, jedoch wirkt die Gewalt in dem Film lediglich auf mich so, um die schlecht umgesetzte Geschichte und die Leistung vieler Darsteller zu überspielen, bzw davon abzulenken. Der Film war nicht meins.

habe selten so einen super film mit eigentlichunbekanten schauspielern bis auf einen gesehenbis zum schluß ist spannung angesagt,einfach nurein genuss,absolute kaufempfehlung.................
