Great way to reduce your home insurance premiums!
Excellent system that’s affordable, easy to set up, and gives great peace of mind. The 10-year battery life is fantastic, the app is user-friendly, and the range has been impressive. Everything just works, and I was able to negotiate a discount on my home insurance!

I'm impressed!!
I'm impressed. I own two homes in cold climates. One in the coldest place in the nation and the other in western Colorado. I installed Yolink in both of my homes. It's a really simple system. The sensors detect water, they send a signal to the hub and the hub tells the motorized valve to close. I have 9 sensors in each home. I've tested the system numerous times and it closes the valve. No problem. The sensors and the valve are batt operated. It's all connected to my phone. I don't know if the system will work if power goes out to the hub. I have to say tho, programming the sensors is a bit complicated, too complicated IMO but once you get it, you can program them all quickly. I love that, if anything goes down or the valve closes, you get a text and an email. So, a complete system which for me was 9 sensors, a hub and a motorized valve was about USD $450. A plumber is recommended to splice in the valve on your water main. They'll charge you $100-$200 for that simple task. I paid it. It was worth it. I did contact customer service with an issue (Claire) and she were SUPER GREAT, quick and efficient communication. and then she offered me a discount on a second system. I was impressed with the speed in which she communicated. So far, after months, I've had no erroneous glitches or any components go down except save one, the valve went offline but was still functional should the sensor reach out to the hub. I just couldn't open or close it with my phone. The fix was just to cycle the valve one time and it reset it. I highly recommend Yolink. I can rest now knowing that I won't go to my mountain house and find a swimming pool in the basement.

Save yourself a flooding catastrophe at home - Buy THIS!
After I had a whole-house (aka "Big Blue") filter get too old, crack open in the middle of the night and flood the garage, I realized that I needed a solution to shut off the main water (1" line) in the event of another flood. As I already had threaded NPT connections anyway for my whole house filter and water softener, this made it a breeze. I installed and configured it in about an hour total, loaded the app, connected it to Alexa and started monitoring (using the YoLink water detectors and hub). Whenever any of the sensors detects moisture (I placed them under the washer, dishwasher, hot water heater and water softener), it immediately shuts electrically (actually, battery), then sends me a notification on my phone. Brilliant! I can verify what detector went off, then investigate. No more flooding the house. Just as a note I will probably buy more sensors in the future and place them behind/under the toilets. Anyway, highly recommended! Thank you, YoLink!

This system works.
For several years I have searched for a water sensor and hardware to detect a water leak then turning off the main water source. I had installed a system several years ago but the software failed and the system is sitting in a box. The YoLink system works on all levels sensing water, turning on an alarm and then turning off the main water line. The app was easy to use as it tracks each hockey sized puck in the house with different options for each sensor. I highly recommend this product and this is a system which works without a lot of hassle. If you are like me and store valuables in your basement or have water systems (reverse osmosis, icemaker, dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom sinks, toilets) I strongly recommend this product. Someone finally developed a system to protect my home and valuables.

Awesome piece of mind!
I purchased this system to monitor for leaks in our fifth wheel. After fixing a couple of minor plumbing leaks I wanted to find a way to monitor key areas for any possible leaks in the future. The shutoff valve makes this the perfect system for my needs. I am using 4 leak detectors. One under the kitchen sink, one in the bathroom, and two in the basement where most of the plumbing is. It is set up so if any sensor detects water it will automatically shut off the valve minimizing any potential water damage, and sned me an alert thru the app and email and a text message. I was so pleased with the system that I decided to expand it. So I also purchased three temperature and humidity sensors. I placed one in the refrigerator, one in the freezer, and one in the living area of the camper. The temp sensor in the camper will alert us if it gets above 79* so we can be sure that fido stays healthy and comfortable in the summer if we leave the camper. I also added a power monitor, it will alert me every time the camper looses power and when power is restored. I set up the hub with a cellular hotspot for internet access. The hotspot and YoLink Hub are powered thru a battery backup so they will continue to work for several hours without shore power. This system has worked flawlessly for us. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for that additional piece of mind or just the added convenience of a smart system.

Easy install, solid product.
A neighbor of mine had his house almost destroyed by an upstairs water leak while he was away at work. After that I decided to get an automatic shutoff valve for my own house. I chose YoLink because it could link wirelessly to multiple leak sensors and communicate through a phone app, and wasn’t overly expensive. Installation was very straightforward using 2 Sharkbite Max 3/4” fittings. Just be sure to watch a few YouTube videos explaining the correct way to prepare the cut pipe ends for a leak free connection. Easy to connect the YoLink hub to a modem and a Wifi network, then link to the valve and leak sensors. I had to call for details on how to setup the automatic shutoff, but support number was very responsive. So far, very pleased with the whole process.

Seems excellent so far
I installed two yolink water control valves in two properties plus two hubs and 13 water leak sensors spread across both properties. I have had them in for about one month now. No detected leaks, so no emergency test. I tested each system heavily as I was setting it up for installation however. Everything worked as I hoped it would. I selected this Yolink system because of its ability to function if wifi is down and if there is a power failure while also being able to be controlled through Internet connection to my phone under normal circumstances. I would say that this system for water detection and shut off, which is all that I have used, is very well thought out and the programming of it, while not super simple is straightforward. It is an impressive design. I did not need to consult tech support so cannot comment on that. I did have a professional plumber install the shut off valve onto the pipe, but that was just my choice. Thus far I have only good things to say about this very good design and the products as I've used them thus far.

Not suitable for UK/Europe, USA only
Whilst the idea and product looks good it should not be used in Uk/Europe. The first problem was that it wud not connect via the hub that came with the detectors I bought separately. It comes with its own and after consulting with the manufacturer came to the conclusion that I shud simply have 2 hubs. Now having tried to have it fitted today it comes to light that it is not WRAS approved and as such shud not be connected in the UK. In addition Uk fitments will not enable it to be connected to your pipe work here. Such a shame, having had a failed tap flood 2 floors and 9 rooms of my house, I thought I had found an economic and effective way to avoid a future occurrence. I see there is now a disclaimer saying products from the USA may differ. I don’t remember spotting it until today, however, as the product is useless here Amazon should take some responsibility and I’m about to contact them. Yokink told me they don’t sell this product outside the USA but it appears something has slipped thru the net or it’s an Amazon default to make the product available here.

A must have house improvement.
I diy installed this one, I don’t have experience plumbing a PEX. It looks daunting at first specially when you cut that main water pipe line. You will suddenly realized there is no turning back. I put 4 wraps of teflon + pipe dope. I used PEX adapter and pinch clamp. The tricky part is to make sure the adapter is very tight, you need to wrestle it tightening until you can’t turn it anymore. I recommend use a 14inches pipe wrench + 12inches adjustable wrench, the longer the wrench the better, it will act as a lever during tightening. Don’t worry it won’t get stripped. I suffered skin blister on my palm tightening it very hard, lol. If you didn’t tighten properly you will have a leak. I measured the clearance from PEX adapter to Yolink main using a caliper, in my case it is 5.9 mm & 6.6 mm. I used 3/4 pinch clamp to connect it to the main line PEX. The first time i installed this one, i had a leak as what others experienced on reviews. Removing a pinch clamp and the PEX adapter is a nightmare. I ended up buying a new adapter and made a new cut at the main water line. I used a vice grip at my first installation, i felt like the leverage power is less compared to a 14inches pipe wrench + 12inches adjustable wrench combo, that’s why it ended up leaking. Once you survived the installation, everything is straightforward on the App. This thing is amazing. It will work even there is power or WIFI outage. The purpose of the hub is just for remote connection on your phone. The sensor and the smart valve can communicate each other even if the hub is offline. You can bargain now with your home insurance to give you some discount. A win win situation.
