KEF KC62 Subwoofer / 1000 Watt / Class D Amplifier / 6.5" Force Cancelling Drive Unit / White White

私のオーディオへの向き合い方ですが 趣味と言えるようなヘビーユーザーではなく 毎日の生活をサブスク音楽で少し豊かにしている程度です。 カジュアルに楽しんでる音楽のクオリティを上げたいな そういった視点から評価を書こうと思います。 KC62の導入前から同メーカーKEFの LS50 Wireless II で音楽を聴いています。 概ね満足していたものの 低音から中低音が互いに干渉していて不明瞭さが気になり 低音に関してももう少し下のところがでてくれればな、と感じていました。 サブウーファーに低音を預ければ この2点が解消されるのではないかと KC62を購入するに至りました。 本機が届きさっそく接続して鳴らしたところ このサイズでこんなに低いところがでるのか というのが最初に感じた率直なことです。 そして低音だけではなくメインスピーカーの 中低音のぼやつきが解消され 相対的に高音や中高音の音質も上がりました。 導入前の思惑通りで笑顔になります。 KEF Connectからハイパス、ローパス、ゲインを触り ここかなというところに設定しました。 曲によってあるいは自分の体調によっても聴こえ方が変わるので 完璧という位置はまだ確定しないです。 以下は私が良く音質評価につかっている曲での印象です。 詳細ではなく一番強く感じたことを記します。 ソースはWi-Fi接続でのSpotifyロスレスです。 「Bill Evans - Waltz for Debby」 クラブでの会話が明確に聞こえ 自分がその空間に居てる感覚です。 「Usher - Burn」 ひたすら艶めかしい。 低音の上にきらやかなボーカルが乗っているR&Bのお手本。 「西本智実 ボリショイ交響楽団 - ボレロ」 フィナーレの大太鼓4発がすさまじい。 リビングにパーカッション奏者がフルショットしている姿がみえる。 「Korn - Blind」 5弦ベースの最低音が恐ろしい。子どもが泣きそう。 「イルカ - なごり雪」 ドラムセットが見える。 挙げればキリがありませんが 毎日音楽を聴くのが一層楽しくなりました。 同メーカーのスピーカーとペアリングしているというのも 今回の感動には大きく寄与していると思います。 レビューをみていると他メーカーのスピーカーに繋いで なかなか四苦八苦してらっしゃる方もみられます。 2025年の個人的な買い物でベストです。 しかし、やはりオーディオはアナログでこそという感覚がありますから 「パワード」「デジタル」というところがいつ悪さをしないか気になります。 イギリス大手KEFのサポートを信じたいところです。

かなりボリュームを下げてもカタカタ音が聞こえます。 カタカタ音は小さいですが、近距離だと聞こえます。 一度交換しましたが、同様の不具合があり返品しました。 オートスタンバイ機能は正常に動作しませんでした。かなり短い時間でスタンバイ状態になる上に復帰しません。小音量だと正常に復帰しないという話は本当のようです。 ただ、すぐに返品したので試していませんが、最新ファームウェアではオートスタンバイ機能を切れるようです。 不良品の確率が高そうなので、くじ運がとても良い人以外にはおすすめできません。 追記1: オートスタンバイ機能のない、古いファームウェアの個体をユーザーがアップデートする事は出来ません。メーカーのサービスセンターに送る必要があります。この価格なので、電源連動のためのトリガー端子も付けて欲しかったですね。 追記2: プラスチック製のパネルの下にあるネジが、製造時点で既に緩んでいるのがカタカタ音の原因で、締めると改善するらしいです。パネルは簡単に外れる（らしい）とは言え分解する必要があるので、知ってても試さなかったとは思います。いずれにしても品質管理に問題があったようです。

２０Hzの低音はしっかりと聞こえます。ただ、低音が入力しないときに自動停止となるのは少しストレスになります。 その点が気になりますが性能は良いと思います。

音楽用というよりは映画鑑賞用です このサイズとは思えない立派な重低音が出ますが、音楽で必要な中低域よりはより低域に強い感じです 戦争モノの映画などでは迫力満点です ジャズなどのベース音はモヤッとした感じになります

標準設定より、少しでもダイヤルをプラス方向にすると、ビキビキと音が割れます。 低音の質感も価格に見合わない音質でした。半額以下のBose製の方が品質がよかった。

I have the KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers. The KC62 Subwoofer is a great match. Minimal set up with the KEF connect app on my phone.

Very happy with the quality and performance. Brings my current speakers to another level.

When I received this subwoofer it come in an amazon box, which, once opened, had the original KEF product box inside. The original box was badly damaged, and had clearly been opened already, and poorly at that. When I opened the KEF box, the subwoofer had been incorrectly packaged and the protective trays inside the package were half torn up and degraded. I pulled the subwoofer out and there were scratches on it and a dried up loogie (yes, someone had spit on it). Bottom line, this was clearly a return, and one that Amazon didn't even evaluate before they sent out the door again. I wonder how many times it had been returned before?? Not cool, Amazon, especially for a $1500 subwoofer. Obviously I returned it, but not before firing up the sub to see what it sounded like, as I was really curious to see if KEF had pulled off the impossible. I'm well versed in adjusting subwoofers to my space and after spending some time getting it calibrated, I had the subwoofer roaring. Truly impressive what KEF has pulled off, however, it just doesn't sound as good as traditional larger subs. It's cool that it's so compact and can fit into tiny spaces, but it's not the bass I'm looking for, and probably wasn't the bass that the previous purchaser that spit on it and returned it, was looking for either. I'd give the sub 3 stars for bass quality. I ended up going with the SVS SB 1000 Pro, which is a bit larger and not quite as aesthetically pleasing, but more than half the price and I'd give it 5 stars in sound quality. Getting a returned and damaged sub at full price was enough to scare me away from ever buying sound equipment from Amazon again. Would highly recommend another retailer, like Crutchfield for this kind of equipment. I still am very grateful for the services Amazon provides, but this purchase certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

JUNK!! Subwoofer has constant popping sounds. I have tried using the ethernet cable for faster internet connection to air play with Apple Music, still have popping sounds. I play music via Bluetooth and AUX with my record player, still have popping sounds. Heck, when I don’t play music at all, there are popping sounds. I unplugged all power source for a whole day and when I plug everything back in, still have popping sounds.

This sub is perfect for desk/office and living rooms. However for larger rooms I'd recommend going with the KC92. I ended up returning it since I wanted a sub that I get to use for any room and got the KC92. KC62 does get super low in the sub range but do not expect high volume output at that low.
