Experiment
Good product but it would take forever to hand polish stone. I was more or less experimenting.

Works good. Check labeling of each pad though.
Sanding pads work well. Great for doing lapidary work by hand. I did, however, notice that a couple of the pads were mislabeled. Two of them were swapped. But, this was easy enough to figure out just by running my fingers over them. Good product for the price. Just be sure to keep them clean between uses so you donโt get leftover grit on sifter stones. I small wire brush works well, followed by a quick shot of air to get rid of the dust.

Disappointed
They look used and have some corrosion going on. Not a good product

Defects
Seemed to work well until I got to the 1500 grit. That one scratched up my onyx peice terribly. Right side of pic 1500. Left redone with 800. Ive redone twice jic, its definitely defective.

Work well except they seem coarser than their ratings
These do a great job cutting away the stones that I was shaping and polishing, but the 3000 grit was leaving the surface a bit rougher and less shiny than I expected. Another 3000 grit pad I already had on hand was able to create a notably nicer gloss far better than this one. Off I touched it again with this 3000 grit it left scratches. Seemed more like a 1200 grit to me.
