TLDR: Good storage, reliable with decent read speed but slow write speed so not great for frequent high speed write but fine for write once, ready many usage I purchased this card for my phone so that I could put my music collection on my phone and use it in the car via bluetooth. I gave up on streaming services once songs and even full albums started disappearing from my account (or worse being replaced with dodgy cover versions) on a daily basis due to "licensing." You can't rely on streaming services to maintain their catalogues I'm old-school and have a decent collection of CD's and Vinyls, with many new releases still available on CD, and have already taken the considerable time to rip my CD's as lossless Flac files for use at home but I needed some decent storage space to put them on my phone The card is decent and holds most (not all) of my collection and read times and reliability are good. Write times are slow and it took maybe a day to almost fill the card but in my use case it is write once, read many so thats ok but I'd be wary of using this card for something that requires frequent, high speed writes

after some consideration I decided to go for Scandisk as they are a well known brand and the price tag was good. the size was as required and they fitted into the device required. easy to use as would be expected if you have selected the correct card for the device you have. the speed seems fine for dash cams and cctv so all is good.

Pros: Speed: Transfers are noticeably quick. Nothing special but it does the job. Storage: 256GB goes a long way. I’ve stored thousands of photos, several hours of Full HD video, and still have plenty of room left. App Performance: With the A1 rating, apps run smoothly from the card. I tested moving a couple of heavier apps and games, and the loading times felt just as good as running them from internal storage. Versatility: The included adapter makes it easy to use the card in cameras and my laptop without needing a separate reader. Cons: It’s not the very fastest option out there if you’re working with 4K video (this one is U1, not U3), but for Full HD it’s absolutely fine. The adapter feels a bit flimsy, though it works. It’s reliable, fast enough for everyday use (especially Full HD video and apps), and has more than enough space for photos, videos, and apps. Bought this to download and store games for Nintendo Switch Oled. Works well and load times for stored games are pretty quick so all good. Cheaper than the SanDisk Switch specific card too ...
