Glarks 18Pcs Brass Solid Round Rod Lathe Bar Stock Assorted for DIY Craft Tool, Diameter 2.5-8mm Length 100mm

I am always using the brass rod for location pins, guides, positive nonmarring stops, and many other needs during fabrications. Sometimes this is hard to find and big box stores do not offer the assorted selection as does this kit. The sizing dimensions are accurate, the existing finish is nice and the price is fair for the product material type. I would purchase this set again.

I needed a small brass rod that was about 8mm wide. I saw this set and it had 18 brass rods of various widths for a cheaper price than I saw for just one 8mm wide rod. When they arrived, I was so please to see how nicely refined these were….very bright and smooth…no sharp places….AND, they were in a nice plastic box that I didn’t even know I was going to get. They were well packaged in a bubble wrap bag inside the plastic box, so all arrived in perfect condition. I got these to use as clay craft tools, so I didn’t check to see how precise the measurements were, but the 8mm looked about right when I was just eye-balling it!

Not much to say about these. Short brass rods in different diameters. They machine easily as all true brass does. They worked for my project so no complaints.

I needed a few shorter pieces of brass rod in a variety of gauges so I didn't want to buy a huge $50 roll of thick brass wire in any one size. This was perfect. They are each 10 cm long, super straight and work hardened and I can cut into a slightly shorter length like 5 or 6 cm and put into an engraving chuck handle and make a jewelry tool out of it. Brass is easy to shape with dremel or flexshaft tools into whatever tip you need and good for making prong and bezel pushers that won't scratch your silver or gold as much as tool steel will.

The content of the storage container really can't be damaged hiwever the container would have been great for storing. I have bought from other sellers in the past and this is a really cheap container. The latch was broken and the container "box" itself seemingly had been crushed/ stepped on. The hinges here broken as well. Overall thr rods were what I wanted and they are pretty much as described. A good sturdy container like came with previous purchases would keep the plastic out of the landfill.

Got these to use as a punch tool for gunsmithing.

Mi servivano, tagliate in piccoli pezzi, per fare dei punti tondi di diverse misure incastonati nel quadrante in legno di un orologio da parete, ed è andato tutto bene. Ora, con una decina di euro, ho una scorta per fare un'altra decina di orologi! 😊 Senz'altro consigliate!

Diese Messingstangen werden als Biegehilfe für PE Teile im Modellbau verwendet - alles war ordentlich in Luftpolsterfolie verpackt und in einer Aufbewahrungsbox geliefert - alle Stangen waren poliert - die Angegebenen Durchmesser passten und in angebener Menge vorhanden - mir hätte als Modellbauer gut gefallen wenn verschiedene Formen verfügbar gewesen wären - bin zufrieden auch würde ich dieses Produkt Wiederkaufen
