The LifeVac device is one-time use only apparatus. If the LifeVac device is used in a choking emergency and has saved the victim's life, the unit should not be used again for sanitary reasons. If used, please contact us through our website to fill out a "Life Saved" report, we will contact you and gladly replace your unit free of charge. (https://lifevac.net/lifevac-saved-a-life-report/). The LifeVac unit can be used multiple times if the obstruction is not dislodged on the first application

Q: Can someone tell me the measurements of the travel pouch? I have two home kits and I want to buy a pouch to make my own travel kit from one of them.

The dimensions of the LifeVac travel kit bag are 11 1/2 x 6 in. x 4 in.

Q: Does this have FDA approval?

LifeVac is FDA-registered as a Class II medical device. It is exempt from pre-market clearance. The FDA does not require a pre-market review of the LifeVac device.

Q: Can someone use this on themselves?

LifeVac can be self-administered. It is extremely beneficial for those individuals that may live alone. We have recorded at least 12 individuals that have used LifeVac on themselves.
