One of the first things I bought to protect my new 2021 XSR900 from accidental tipovers
They are easy to install. Uses the same 5/16" hex ratchet as the stock engine mount bolts. Definitely don't look like the ones in the amazon photos. They are tapered - I guess that's how their newer models look?If for some reason my bike experiences a tip-over (no crashes knock on wood) I will update on how much damage is mitigated by these sliders.PS I wish they were a little longer and not tapered - I might have used them as forward cruising pegs! LOL

They are not shaped as pictured
They seem sturdy and weighty. Easy to install. But the pegs are tapered slightly away from the base.

Nice but issues
Seem very nice but my left side (longer of the two) the bolt seems almost to be a different threading than the others. Stock rethreads no problem and so does the bolt for the other side but the one threads seems slightly longer and I can’t use the one side. Complete shame I ordered these and can only put one side on I’m gonna have to contact the company about it.

Worth it
Fits my 2017 fz-09. The plastics kind of rub on them but not a big deal can be slight modified but if it annoys some. Can’t even tell they are for the previous model. Just wish I had them on before I knocked it over

Perfect if you don't trust your Stealership
Stealership dropped my bike a week after I installed these.... They saved the bike and these barely took a scratch. Didn't even bother having them swapped after the drop.

Saved my bike!!!
Unfortunately I went down today and my fz hit the ground at 35-40 mph. The slider took all the damage and saved my bike. I rode the bike home after their crash! Only other thing that broke was a mirror which gives me a reason to purchase bar end mirrors lol.

2015 Yamaha FZ 09.
I wanted low profile frame and engine protection for a pristine 2015 Yamaha FZ 09. Installation was easy, and I took the precaution of applying thread locker to the bolts included with the guards. Clean look.

There is a left and a right.
Very solid and excellent Finnish. I am very happy with these. They look great on my bike.
