My daughter loved it! She even took the video for this review. Other reviews mention weak magnets, but this hardly affects anything! I do suggest starting out on a soft surface though, so you can learn how to control the magnets, but after that, play all you want anywhere you want. Definitely recommended!

These ferrite stones are surprisingly fun to mess with and great for focus, but the biggest surprise was that the "500+" claim does not match reality. My tin only had about 150 pieces. That being said, what is here feels high quality, looks nice, and is oddly satisfying to play with. It is a great little fidget toy for work or as a gift, though probably a bit overpriced for the amount you get. What was good: The stones look and feel great. They have a nice matte finish, a bit of weight to them, and a texture that is very satisfying when fidgeting. The weak magnetic strength works in their favor. They stick together just enough to let you make fun shapes but fall apart easily, almost like a magnetic liquid, which keeps them from feeling stiff or clunky. I use them while working as a software developer and they have become my go-to distraction when I need to reset my focus. The tin is solid and color matched to the stones, which makes it feel well put together and easy to carry around. Friends and coworkers also seem to enjoy them. I originally found out about these from a coworker, and another one who tried mine thought they were awesome. What wasn’t: The biggest drawback is the amount. The listing says 500+, but the "Small" tin only had around 150. That feels misleading, especially since the stones are very easy to lose if you are not careful. They also tend to get stuck in the tin, which means sometimes you have to pry them out. On top of that, the price feels high for what you actually get. Ten dollars would have felt about right considering the amount, although I do think these will last a long time. Recap: Overall this is a fun and unique desk fidget toy. It is not going to revolutionize your stress relief habits, but it is addictive to play with and feels great in your hands. The main thing to keep in mind is that you are getting far fewer stones than the listing suggests. Even with that disappointment, I will probably buy another set for work since they make a cool gift and are just plain fun to have around.

These are so fun to play with but, they are easy to lose and, if you drop them they pretty much explode. But I love playing with them otherwise. Would definitely not recommend for young children for obvious reasons. Fave stars!

I think this is the perfect stress reliever for me. It’s very soothing and the texture is wonderful. I wish the magnets were stronger though, it may be a hazard to use around pets as they tend to scatter across the floor. Definitely would not recommend to anyone with small pets or children, i have a kitten and i always use this toy in a separate room, but still it is nerve wracking knowing how much damage could be done if she happened to come across some loose ones.
