Q: Are they supposed to be alive? They were dead when they came....

Here is the Truth! Mine arrived June 13, 2022 and I opened it June 22 and feed it to my happy tank. They appear dead to me and I put them in the refrigerator until last night August 24, 2022. So around 60+ days of refrigeration I was desperate for some hybrid Thick Lip Gouramis (think Cinnamon and darker black tones (beautiful)) babies that were two days old. Ok, Hoping the BBS were not spoiled (sniffed it first) let’s try them as ordering eggs would take 5 days and hatching time. So, I added a tiny amount and thought they were dead. I came back 30 minutes later at I was trying to take photos of the babies and I thought I was seeing some parasites in the water swimming and then it hit me, “it’s alive, it’s alive” and lo and behold my tank was full of swimming baby brine shrimp. Watch the video. I have nice microscope images but they act like they are in hibernation straight out of the bottle. The ingredients are simple so I don’t know why they act like they are dead. Day two and still alive in the tank

Q: Is it good for Cory Catfish fry?

I'm using this for Betta Fry and it works fantastic. I'm sure your Cory fry would love this.

Q: Is this good for newly hatched Betta fry after they absorb their yolk sack?

Depending on the specific species of betta. If it is betta splendens then no they need to wait a few days eating smaller things like paramecium first. Betta Splendens are the betta that 99% of big box stores have. Betta Albimarginata fry can eat this right away.

Q: Are these hydrated baby brine eggs or shrimps? Not live, right?

It not live but you fish gonna love it
