Mother Lode Jr Backpack - Black

This backpack is of very high quality and looks great. It is truly shocking what you can fit in this thing ... I could easily take a week long trip with just this. It's comfortable to carry as long as y ou are mindful of how much you are shoving in it ... it holds enough to end up pretty heavy. It is, however, GIANT. pay attention to the dimensions. This is sized to be a carry-on, not a personal item, for airline travel. So, if you turn up with a roller bag AND this thing, you very well might get turned away. It's not going all the way under any seat. Having said that, I did just get away with exactly that ...carried this and my matching Motherlode roller board bag (which is pretty much exactly the same size as this backpack, minus the handles and wheels) and I got away with it. I was prepared to have to gate check tho as it is clearly oversized for a "personal item". But, it's an amazing pack ov great design and capacity ... just much bigger than I expected.

I give this a 5 star.. it’s great for traveling, just to large for under the seat. Features are great. Good storage, adjustable front straps. You can also strap it on to your roller bag if you did not want to carry it. It has multiple handles too.. It also looks good.

Excellent travel backpack. Smaller than the Mother Lode, it can definitely take the place of a carryon. It's a bit too big for a daily backpack and it could use some more inside pockets or compartments for organization. Overall, it's exactly what it should be. I recommend.

This is a great travel backpack. It’s like a carryon suitcase with convenient backpack storage. Water bottle holder, easy access top and front pouch, convenient typical backpack pouch, with suitcase like clothes storage. Stowable backpack straps, 3 suitcase handles, and removable cross body strap.

I love the bag, is just the right size for me and you can fit a lot of things. I do wish the strap to place on the carry in was higher… where it is the back tends to lean forward and is just weird. I’ll have to buy a luggage belt or something to secure it higher for when I am walking with the bad on the luggage

Very well made. Sturdy as well as attractive. Comfortable to have on your shoulders.
