What is the differnce between a Texas instrument TI 30X second calculator and the BA 2 Plus Financial calculator?

The BA 2 plus is a better overall calculator when it comes to the field of finance, where the TI 30X is tailored more towards statistics and advanced scientific functions. It can easily help you find NPV of annuities, annuity dues, and mixed streams. Also with the right understanding of the calculate you are able to quickly calculate investment decision criteria such as the IRR (internal rate of return) and PI (profitability index). It is a finance major's best friend .In short if you are more towards finance you want the BA 2 PLUS, and If you are not taking it for the field of finance and more towards science and statistics then you would want to go for the 30X. Good enough for my purpose

I liked the calculator, and I bought it to help me with my CFA exams. I have both calculators, the HP 12 is great, and I have to say that I was used to it. However, the practicality of the BA II is phenomenal. I recommend! The only downside is the material itself. It is too "plasticky", it doesn't compare to the HP 12 one.
