Been using this fan to transfer air in my home from one area to another, and it’s awesome, hasn’t shown any signs of wear or breakage.

love this thing, work horse fan right here.
This thing is real nice, real quiet, and can really blow air if you put it at the highest setting. For my usage, it's good enough for a laminar flow hood. Also, I know it's a bit trashy, but it does come with a nice foam block for the top and bottom that I ended up cutting out and then sliding onto the shaft of the drum. Those inserts are actually real nice for just holding it in place in a box.
