It works
I live in a 3-floor townhome with one central AC unit so the bottom floor is cold while the top floor is hot. I decided to get three register booster fans for my upstairs bedrooms. I ordered two 4x10 and one 6x12 register since the rooms had different sized vents. The 6x12 register didn't fit, so Biowind sent me a 4x12 size directly as it was unavailable on Amazon, which fit great.I've been using these register booster fans for about a month now and they really do work. They are easy to program (you just set the fan turn-on temperature a few degrees above the temperature of the air coming out of the vent when the AC is on). You can adjust the fan speed from 1-10. I keep the fan at 7, and I do see about a 3 degree difference in the room with them on. However, at 7 speed, the noise is noticeable. I don't mind the noise since I find a sound of a fan to be ambient white noise, but others might find it bothersome.The registers look exactly like the pictures --I got both the black and white ones. Some reviews noted that they only last a year, but I hope that is not the case. Biowind offers a 30 month warranty so hopefully I get a few years use out of it.

I can finally sleep comfortably!
I absolutely love this product! My upstairs bedroom used to get so hot that even running a fan wasn't enough to keep it comfortable. Meanwhile, downstairs always felt nice and cool. Lowering the thermostat just made the downstairs colder without making much difference upstairs.This device has been a total game changer. Now my bedroom feels just as cool and comfortable as the downstairs. It also looks great, is made from high-quality materials, and lets you adjust the airflow and set your desired temperature.One tip: if you're only using one unit in your bedroom, keep the door closed to help trap the cool air inside. If you're hoping to cool your entire upstairs, I'd recommend getting multiple units for the different rooms or areas you want to keep comfortable.

Wrong size
I ordered the wrong size. 100% my fault. Was going to return it and get the correct one then on the box noticed it said to contact support before returning anything. They offered to send the correct size free of charge. Super easy and it works great too!
