Great sounds so kick back and enjoy.
I have had these “earbuds” for a couple of weeks now, they replaced a budget pair that didn’t work properly, and I can definitely say these are worth that little increase in budget. I am not a sound purist but from my point of view they are excellent. Reading the instructions and downloading the app and fully charging was the recommended approach and I think this gave me a better understanding of the basics of use. There’s a good program in the app to set up your “buds” for your personal hearing based on age and range of tone you can hear, worthwhile checking this out. There’s a decent amount of options of ear fittings and having found the right fit and developed my technique for fitting securely I set about listening to a couple of hours of my favourite tunes. Finding the right volume was easy and the stereo effect was among the best I have experienced. Central voice with separated sound, well as I said I am no connoisseur, but it was to me excellent. I usually use over the ear headphones but recently found them a bit heavy and hot to wear after an hour or two. I found these comfortable even after a couple of hours. I haven’t mastered the buttons and committed function to memory yet, but I haven’t been trying. I am sure the younger more dexterous users will quickly pick up nuances. I can not attest to use in exercise but I found that they fit securely and survived some playtime with my energetic dog. Ease of use, well I can only say that being of a more senior age than perhaps the target market a read of the instructions and I was good to go. Value for money? Your discretion really, very much better value than a budget pair, simply vastly superior, sorry I do not have any reference to the luxury brands. Noise reduction both for people near by and for me the user seems to have past the test. Wife can not hear any noise from them and I have missed out on a few offers of tea, they pass my test! In conclusion, read the instructions, set to your hearing levels and kick back and enjoy.

Excellent product.
These are well worth the price. The noise cancelling is noticeable immediately and works well. The sound quality is just fine and the set up for your taste is easy too do. I'm very happy with these.

Excellent ANC, annoying controls
I got these headphones for a good price on prime day. Sound quality is great and so is the fit. The case is really sleek too with the sliding feature. Noise cancellation is brill for in ear buds. My only gripe is the fiddly nature of the controls on the earbuds. It's not top or swipe, you have to a strange gripping motion.

Supreme feel quality sound and earbuds .
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best earbuds I’ve ever owned! Absolutely love these Soundcore Liberty 5. The sound is fantastic — rich, juicy bass but still beautifully balanced, with clear vocals and plenty of detail. With Dolby Atmos enabled on my phone, the sound feels incredibly spacious and immersive, almost like being at a live concert. The fit is another huge plus. They sit perfectly and securely in my ears, are very comfortable, and don’t stick out awkwardly like some other earbuds — no “Shrek ears” here! 😄 ANC works brilliantly, the overall build feels premium, and the sound quality genuinely surprised me. Powerful bass without drowning out the rest of the music, great separation and a really enjoyable, full sound. I’ve owned quite a few in-ear headphones over the years, and these are easily the best I’ve had. Soundcore absolutely nailed the Liberty 5. Highly recommended!

Majorly improved ANC
Coming from Liberty 4 NC - the audio quality otherwise seems the same, and there's an minor upgrade to battery life, but the ANC is significantly improved. ANC isn't a huge thing for me but I can't deny how much greater it is this time around. It's MUCH better at neutralizing background voices and I estimate ambient sounds like humming have been reduced by a further 20% or so. It's kind of jarring to get used to for the first time. I can't say the upgrade was worth it, but in terms of quality, the 5 is still an amazing product. They also seem to fit better but that might be me using the default earbuds, which I usually don't do - I no longer have any problem with them gradually slipping from my ear, but that could just be a "me" thing. I'm not a huge fan of the controls, but I don't like the 4 NC's touch buttons either. On that topic, they're both about the same to use, meaning imperfect but mostly functional.

Amazing
I've been rocking liberty air 2's for years and they are great... One of those should I buy the new ones when the old ones work fine.... Well I treated myself and wow welcome to the future... Who knew how good the difference would be... I now do... tested for a couple of days and it's a joy too listen to music again.... Here's the review... The noise cancelling doesn't cut out everything but it does such a good job that outside noise is now a background thing which doesn't hinder what you're listening to... Very strange how quiet the world goes.... Very comfortable to wear and the battery well you just put them back in the case and they are fully charged... I use for a couple of hours a day and haven't yet charged from purchase... I would without hesitation purchase these again and after hearing these I'm thinking what the hell do the really expensive Bose etc sound like?? There's a couple of great things that aren't mentioned.... your control with a clicker type button on the pods and it can be personalised in the app, for example one click play/pause, two clicks volume, three next track or whatever order you like.... The play click starts the music from Spotify without opening from the phone... How? Spotify doesn't even open? Also take these out of your ears and the music stops... Still trying to work out how they know... Recommend purchase

All good… and then
To begin with these EarPods rivalled even the most expensive and better known EarPods I’ve tried. However I decided I would use these daily and do a long term review. Here is what I’ve found. Battery Life - this does kind of differ depending on the NC option you have chosen but I get a good week or so without needing to charge them. Comfort - initially I was sceptical and thought I would get ear fatigue quite quickly with them but I was pleasantly surprised. After maybe 2-3 hours as with every earphone I’ve tried you do begin to get a bit of an ache but otherwise okay. Sound Quality - here I was massively impressed, and compared to a cheap Anker pair I ditched a year or two ago. You get a deep bass (which you can alter in the app) but as standard they are brilliant. Noise Cancelling - this once again depends on the mode you use with the app but I didn’t really have too many issues with this. The downsides - Well to start about a week ago the volume on the left earbud (which I don’t often use) decided to be much quieter than the right counterpart. For me this only is an issue when I use both at the same time. Generally speaking this is a massive problem. Another point to add is the app which is impressive but full of bugs and freezes a lot. I’m not sure if this is the earphones themselves or the app, but over the last month or so it keeps changing EQ and noise cancelling modes on its own. Which is very frustrating. The microphone on the earpieces are pretty meh. Not the best in the world but certainly not the worst. As for value, I’d have to give it to Anker, you get a lot for your buck, more than competitors and in the last year alone they’ve come a very long way. But I have to come back to the issue of the dodgy left ear piece. It’s just so frustrating. 3 stars

My recommendation is buy the cheaper ones, you won't be so annoyed WHEN they fail.
5 stars because nobody reads the 1 star reviews. Anker get 5 stars for DOWNGRADING an already not so great product. Oh dear, no "lessons learned" from last time, I bought the Liberty 5's and made a rather scathing review of them (below) and had hoped after contacting customer services that they would indeed "learn lessons from my feedback" They didn't, AND they made them WORSE, despite this supposedly being the "next iteration". (If you're wondering why I bought them - to see if Anker really did do any product improvements. NOPE.) Here's how: They used smaller drivers than the previous iteration (liberty 4) 10.5 > 9.2 mm. These liberty 5's have worse impedance - 17 ohms compared to the previous 10 ohms of the liberty 4's, THAT REALLY MATTERS IN SOUND OUTPUT. 10 ohms to 17 ohms for earbuds is a bad thing. REALLY BAD. (Quieter, less bass, less battery efficient) Doesn't have AI translation software built in. THEY USED THE SAME ANC system as before (which was bad). It still stops the music when it hears something - EVEN WITH THE ANC TURNED FROM THE "BE AWARE" SETTING OF 5 TO MAX, which is supposed to stop that behaviour. As they are new, I cannot comment yet on the longevity of the mic usage, but if the mics on this one start cutting out or misbehaving like the last one - I will be asking for a refund - AGAIN. And the biggest kick in the 'nads of all? THEY REDUCED THE PREVIOUS 2 YEAR WARRENTY TO A 1 YEAR "LIMITED" WARRENTY. So Anker produced a worse product, with HALF the warranty period for around the same money when the other product is bought on sale. Good job Anker. Here is my previous review - which got deleted TWICE: Edited from original review which seems to have gone..... missing. Anker reached out to me after my below review and their customer service I have to say is as excellent as I would hope from a company like Anker, and we have had a resolution to the matter, and promised to pass on my criticism of the "too sensitive" ANC software. Having used them a couple more times, even though the ANC is still too sensitive, if that's not really what you're using them for, then these earbuds give excellent sound reproduction and I reiterate as good if not slightly better than Sonys CF-700's and should definitely be considered for your next earbud purchase. Edit 2 after 1 years use - the microphone for speech for telephone calls has stopped working, they are currently under review for repair or replacement - music sound is still good - even after the latest update the ANC is STILL TOO SENSITIVE AND TURNS THE MUSIC OFF WITH THE SLIGHTEST PROVOCATION - like me coughing, that's even when ANC is turned up to 10. **Original review as follows:** I bought these in the recent black friday and after downloading the software, doing the hearing test and the equaliser test I put them in and went to my workshop (I work from home as a cabinetmaker). All seemed fine until the ANC kept going on and off - after a google, turns out the ANC "Be aware" software will autoturn the music off if it hears ANYTHING. A door closing, a screwdriver dropping onto the floor, a car driving past and THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE IT NOT DO THIS. Turning the ANC to max setting does not stop this. I bought these BECAUSE there is a lot of noise distractions in around and near my workshop and wanted ... guess what? ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING 100% of the time. What these do instead is ""sort of active noise cancelling..... unless it hears a noise". As my tagline, instead it's like a skittish chihuahua "What's that? **bark bark** I heard something, what is it? WHAT IS IT? Oh it's nothing....." and then the music comes back on. And I'm absolutely not joking when I say that this was happening MULTIPLE TIMES WITHIN THE PLAYTHROUGH OF A SINGLE SONG - 3, 4, 5 times within a handful of minutes. THE WORST BEHAVING ANC SOFTWARE OUT OF THE THREE ANC EARBUDS I BOUGHT TO TEST. It works great, for the 20 seconds until it hears a sudden noise, then cuts the song ENTIRELY. It's TOO sensitive. For a cost of £100 on sale or £130 normal price, this is bloody terrible and INCREDIBLY BAD SOFTWARE DESIGN that they don't have an option for "full active noise cancelling at all times - ignore all outside sources".

Good value.
Works well for price. Good that one can personalise settings via the app and have a choice of in-ear bud size. Haven’t had a chance to use the noise cancelling for air travel yet and suspect it won’t come near over-ear headphones.

Qualità audio impressionante e personalizzazione al top. Super consigliate!

Battery issue but resolved ? Amazing quality <3
Sound is amazing, there are few minor problems with connectivity, my pair reported L>70% at all times but seems to be fixed after update, wanted to return it but loving the quality of sound and fitting, it's beyond "normal" quality <3 might however return it later if they show fault...
