I don't actually fish, which is what I think these are meant for. I needed something to protect my thumb and forefinger at work - I have to handle a lot of metal and my skin was getting worn on those two fingers. Ordered this baby and I'm all set! I don't wear it constantly, but it's quite comfortable and does exactly what I wanted. Can't go wrong with the price, likely to order a few more for extras as I expect it will wear out eventually with my particular use.

I've tried taping and work gloves and they're just okay. The water loosens the tape after 15ish pulls and the gloves lasts about 100 pulls before needing to tape the wear marks. So far, I've pulled about 100 times and there doesnt seem to be any wear. The 2 finger design also allows for more dexterity with my remaining digits. This means faster to setup and release the dart. CARP BEWARE!! Totally worth the price and delivery was fast!

You get the hand for your buck for this product. Fits well on your fingers. Easy to cast out while wearing it. Highly recommend for people who fishes with braided lines.

I love it if I can remember to bring it with me fishing it would be great.

Awesome item. I've used up to 5oz lures and it does not hurt my fingers. However, such heavy lure will cause the lines to slowly cut into the material. Because it's not very expensive, I would suggest purchasing several pairs. It works well with both mono and braided lines.
