Spectrum Noir Ink Pad – Finesse Water Proof, Noir Black, One Size

Great except they don't dry stright away like it say's and even when dry I found they sometimes smuddged when using encaustic wax over the top, but can't print on top of encaustic ink instead. Works fine with using marker pens and watercolour brush pens over the ink. When applying ink onto clear stamps it's easy to get ink on the edge and then your fingers so have to be careful. Takes lots of repeated pressing on the ink pad to distribute enough ink on the stamp, so have to careful check enough ink is on the stamp before printing but need to print quickly otherwise it partly dries on the stamp leaving a patchy print, so can be tricky but good to print with. Gives a good dark solid black colour.

Good ink pad but, I store my pads on their sides due to limited space, but this ones lid falls off! It has to stay flat, so doesn't get used much as in different place to all other ink pads.

This is the first time that I have purchased any product from Spectrum Noir and I am not disappointed.The ink is lovely, doesn't print patchy, the value for money is good and it is brilliant on my clear stamps (but still super easy to wash off ). I will definitely be ordering more of this when I run out . I am using this ink with watercolours, fine liners and colouring pens and not once has the ink bled into the picture. Mind blown ! !!

This ink pad is amazing! It is very 'juicy', giving a solid black colour. It is very waterproof as I found there was no movement of the ink once I applied watercolour on top of it. Even when I rubbed over the ink many times with a wet brush, the ink stayed in place. I would highly recommend buying this ink pad, especially if you like using watercolours or other wet mediums over ink.

I have used this stamping pad for stamping images on cards and then hand painting them with watercolours and it works brilliantly!I would say that you should make sure you clean it up off stamps and stamping plates as soon as possible as it dries very fast!

Not really waterproof even after 4 hours.

The stamps needed lots of dabbing onto the ink pad, and then it smudged easily.

Does what it says on the tin!It gave a good crisp print and dried in a few seconds.I then plashed water and watercolour pens all over it and it did not run or smudge at all.Very pleased.
