A small very useful ECG device
This is a small, portable device which is easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The instruction booklets are clear and easy to follow and you don't need to purchase a subscription. Also, you don't need to use a phone app as you can see the traces on the device but using the app is actually useful because, amongst other things, you can save the traces as an image or pdf document to send on to others e.g. your GP. I bought it for my wife who experiences occasional arrhythmias but not at the precise time of an ECG at A&E or GP Surgery. This device has helped capture what she is feeling and now can present the traces to the doctor for discussion. It doesn't replace professional advice but when you get a 'no abnormalities' result it does give peace of mind. Only had it a few days, but so far, very impressed and would recommend.

Cardiac monitor for reassurance
This small machine about the size of a mobile phone is very simple to set up with its user-friendly free app. Use is even easier and provides 6 wire reports of current heart conditions, downloadable and printable. There is no subscription and customer service is very prompt, helpful and friendly. One can take this anywhere: its read-out provides reassurance if so required. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Great little machine
This is a great little machine highly portable and easy to use and operate. Provides instant critical information on heart beat and rhythm and can be easily connected to an i phone or tablet to retain and record all your readings taken with all supporting detail. It certainly does provide confidence having it close by and available at any time. Also beneficial when attending related doctors or hospital appointments to have such data readily available to support such consultations.

Easy to use. Easy app to use. Clear results. No subscription.
only received the device on 12 July 25. The device was well packaged and very secure in its box. I found the instructions easy to follow and it is really clear how to use. The down load of the app was equally easy to download load from the App Store and set up. I downloaded to my iPad. This gives you much clearer results (in my opinion ) and makes the reading easier to view. I have completed 5 reading’s now and I am impressed of the professional lay out of the chart, it looks like the professional ones you get from a medical establishment ie your GP or emergency department. I now feel confident in capturing my heart rhythm when it plays up and sharing the results with the medical professionals. When I have ECG’s at the gp or ed it never captures the arrhythmia I have had. Now I can capture the readings with this simple to use Emay 6 lead ecg device. Read the instructions upon receiving your device, and then practice a couple of times on yourself. Simply hold both thumbs on the two pads left and right and place the bottom pad just above your bare left knee. Hold still for thirty seconds and you have your result. The beauty with this device is it tells you instantly what it detected. I connect it to my iPad via Bluetooth download and I can view the whole thirty second incident. You don’t need a senseless subscription either, what’s not to like. In breath if you are concerned with how your heart is performing this little machine will help give you some peace of mind, it does me. So far very pleased.

Top Quality Six-lead ECG Monitor
Single lead ECGs on watches have limitations especially on atrial arrhythmias, tending to report all as atrial fibrillation (AF). Six-lead traces will give your clinician far more detail. In reviews this Emay was generally recommended as the best available. It is able to distinguish between a wide range of arrhythmias and especially for people with premature atrial complexes (PACs) which will not show up as AF, but as missed beats or if other abnormalities are present as arrythmia. This is important because management of/clinical response to PACs and AF are different. It is easy enough to use after a little practice and reports can be uplifted to both mobile phones and PCs making sharing with your clinicians easy.. The battery lasts for ages on a single charge. It comes with good instructions. If you want, it can make a one-lead ECG. Settings allow you to vary the trace duration giving great flexibility. The construction is robust. They offer a prompt help desk service by email. For the quality module you get it isn’t expensive either. I can highly recommend this product. You should obviously always get medical advice as well.

Solid Upgrade — Worth It After Firmware Update and Careful Use
I bought this EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor to replace or supplement my 1L EMAY Portable ECG/EKG Monitor, which I’ve had for a couple of years. At first, I found it quite difficult to use, as there are a number of specific requirements to be met: * Staying still: remain perfectly still throughout the recording. * Electrode pressure: maintain light contact with the electrodes. * Dry skin: lightly dampen the skin beforehand. * Consistent contact: keep contact until the 30-second timer reaches zero. * Electronic devices: record in a quiet room with no nearby electronics. * Clean electrodes: clean the electrodes before use. * Skin conditions: avoid dry or overly hairy areas, as instructed. * Implanted devices: do not use if you have a pacemaker or ICD. * Charging: do not charge during recordings. Deviation from these can cause inconsistent readings. At first, I did six or seven tests and got six or seven different results — including “no anomalies”. I tried again, with the same result. I then entered a period of email exchanges with EMAY support, and it was decided that I needed to download new firmware. And now? By paying attention to the requirements — and with the new firmware — the results seem much more consistent. The results are presented in 4-page PDFs, which I now load into ChatGPT 4o and ask for its opinion (“I am not a doctor”, it insists … and then gives me its opinion anyway). Chat can also produce a neat report that I could pass on to my doctor if I ever needed to. Luckily I don’t have any heart problems, but it’s reassuring to be able to check once a month …… just to be sure. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the initial problems.

Compact, easy to use with detailed, informative output. No subscription required is an added bonus.
Having had arrhythmias and tachycardia my GP referred me for a 24 hour ECG - typically my heart didn't miss a beat for the whole time I was hooked up! So I did some research to find a device that I could use as and when I detected abnormal heart activity. I initially ordered the Emay EMG, but found it difficult to get good contacts with the electrodes due to arthritis in my hands, so I went ahead and arranged return, and ordered the EMAY 6L which is in a different league altogether - so much easier to hold and get a reading. The 6 lead model provides a detailed and informative ECG reading while still being extremely easy to use. The device is compact and portable, comes with clear instructions, and taking a reading only takes a minute. The readings appear quickly and the level of detail is significantly greater than the single-channel version. The accompanying app works well and allows the ECG traces to be stored, reviewed and shared, and I expect my doctor will appreciate the detailed output - it's so easy to share my readings with the surgery via email. I'm very grateful to have this information as it will help to inform a treatment plan and hopefully improve the issues I've been having.

Easy to use and no subscription needed
I decided to buy an ECG monitor as I’ve recently thought about monitoring my own health and thought it worth starting to look at my heart health while I currently have no problems, as far as I knew. It was reassuring to see the monitor report no abnormalities. I’m not particularly technical so always slightly dread having to set things up in apps or on computers, but It was very easy to set up the app and connected straight away to the monitor. There’s no setup needed on the monitor itself apart from connecting to your device, if you want it connected to a device. I haven’t set up on my computer yet as I’ve been able to do what I need on the app but may do at a later date. It comes with two manuals, one for use & phone setup and the other manual has the setup for on your computer. The monitor, and the app, are easy to navigate. Using the monitor was straight forward. I did wash my hands and wipe my knee with water and lightly dried before, just because I’d read that helps the connection, if your skin is too dry. The customer service reply very quickly to queries and are very helpful, which is good to know incase I have any problems. The manual says if you contact them, they can send you a discount for the case. I’ve now got my case, and the monitor and charging lead fit in lovely and it’s a nice compact size. The insert is moulded to hold the monitor nice and snuggly. I managed to fit the manuals under the monitor moulding at a squeeze, so everything is in one place. I’ve only had the monitor for a couple of weeks, but so far, I’ve been impressed by it and how simple it is to use.

Great device for quick and easy use
I have PSVT which most ecg machines, for home use, do not identify as PSVT however my OMRON ekg/bp machine 1 lead and this EMAY do identify as irregular rhythm and tachycardia. The EMAY is lightweight ez to use and fast. I carry it to gym and on bike rides in case I have an PSVT incident. My garmin watch does not pickup fast HR unless I am wearing a chest strap so the EMAY is my go to device. It is handy to show onset of attack and even more importantly the cessation after meds or vagal maneuver stops attack. Unfortunately I have had 2 incidents in last 2 days and the EMAY 6 lead allowed me to record 6 lead at start and 1 lead for a quick track of HR until it resumed normal HR The graphs print very easily and will go with me to Dr. Can also email pdf to Dr. if needed. GREAT Device and no subscription!!

EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor is an Excellent Device
I have a history of mitral valve prolapse syndrome (Barlow’s Syndrome). I felt that in 1980 and visited the cardiologist who let me see it in the ECG he performed for me. That appeared in the form of a Premature Ventricular Complex (PVC). Later, I followed up my case, everytime to undergo an ECG and get a report. Ten years ago, the cardiologist discovered Aortic Valve insufficiency with increased blood regurgitation of both the mitral and the aortic valves, a mild left ventricle hypertrophy and an increased number of PVCs. Recently, I felt that my case needed more frequent visits to the cardiologist for follow-up or, if there is someway, to try to observe oneslf at home. The Emay monitor seems to be an excellent device to use everday to see if there are any developments. This helps to decide on when to visit the cardiologist. My son who is a frequent customer of Amazon, decided to bring it as a gift to me. I am observing my ECG using this monitor on daily basis and I feel it is giving me peace of mind. Of course, according to the EMAY development team recommendations, if I feel any dangerous developments, I will immediately visit my cardiologist. Thanks to the EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor team for making things so easy.

No subscription needed for all functions
I’ve been using the EMAY 6L ECG Monitor for a while now, and it’s exactly what I was looking for—a simple, reliable way to check my heart rhythm at home without a lot of hassle. The biggest advantage is that this is a true stand-alone device. You don’t need a phone or app just to take a reading. You turn it on, place your thumbs on the sensors, and within about 30 seconds you get a result right on the screen. That makes it incredibly convenient, especially if you just want a quick check without dealing with Bluetooth or apps every time. Ease of use is excellent. There are no wires, no patches, and no learning curve. It’s basically one-button operation. Even someone who isn’t tech-savvy could use this without any trouble. That said, the phone and computer apps are a nice bonus when you want more detail. You can transfer your readings via Bluetooth or USB, view larger waveforms, store long-term history, and share reports with your doctor if needed. The key point is that the apps are optional—you’re not forced to use them and they are free. Storage has also been more than sufficient. The device keeps plenty of recordings, and it’s easy to move them off to a computer if you want to keep a longer record. Another big plus is that there’s no subscriptions required. Everything works right out of the box, and you’re not locked behind any paywalls to access your own data. Of course, it’s not a full medical diagnostic device, and it’s not meant to replace a doctor or continuous monitoring. But for spot-checking and keeping an eye on things, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Overall, if you want a straightforward, stand-alone ECG monitor that’s easy to use, offers flexible app support, has plenty of storage, and doesn’t require a subscription, with great customer support, this is a great choice.
