Vic Firth SIH3 Stereo Isolation Headphones

Sound isolation: Actually really good at what they advertise, IMO. I bought those so I could take them to work and not have to listen to my coworker a cubicle over loudly crunching on nuts the whole day. It's definitely effective - I don't notice the nut crunching anymore. I also don't notice coworkers stopping by my cubicle anymore because I can't hear them approaching, but eh I'm OK with that tradeoff. Audio quality seems pretty good to me. Definitely better than the open ear open back headphones I got from Phillips a while ago for a similar price. It's probably just the sound muffling, but the music/sound is more immersive than my previous solution. Size: Surprisingly, it just about fits on my big ol head, which is probably bigger than 95% of the general population. It clamps on pretty tight, but it hasn't felt uncomfortable just yet. Coord: The audio cord is built in. Thankfully it seems to be a fairly sturdy cord, which seems to be just the right length for me to move about my cubicle but also not tangled under my chair or something. So if you specifically need a short or rather long cable this may not work, but it should be fine for the majority of usecases

Drummer essential. Even if not listening to anything it still makes drums sound so much better, cuts out high ranges to protect your ears. This is my second pair in 20 years, clearly something that is built to last as needed. The new ones are way more comfortable, but I miss the cord being a coil; this one will not stretch like that. Still worth it.

Good product. With the reviews I had read before, I expected a better sound quality with a bit more punchy bass. Isolation is very good, cups feel a little too small sometimes, but do the job.

Now I can play my drums along with Spotify and YouTube and hear the music and drums equally without having to turn up the music too loud and damage my hearing. I wish I bought them years ago.

The most uncomfortable isolation headphones I've ever used. Give me a headache after a few minutes.

Tippy top of the line when it comes to quality and not breaking the bank.. reliability and comfort.. I can have these on for literally five or six hours at a time.. no pain or pessure.. I don’t even feel them… I let my guitarist listen to the mix of my drums the other day, and he was blown away at the isolation..

Estuve valorando comprar unos de 40€, unos de thomann y unos beringher que parecian buenos, pero la ia me aconsejó estos (estan por 84€) y sinceramente ha sido un acierto total, tenía unos semi abiertos antes para la batería electronica. y se escuchaban reguleras. Ha sido ponerme estos cascos y dios que diferencia. Aislan totalmente de los golpes del exterior por lo que escuchas el sonido del kit en condiciones y luego que el sonido es muy bueno y en comparación con lo que tenía antes no hay color.

Le utiilizzo con una Roland Td-316, con la quale ho usato anche delle altre cuffie (le stesse Vic Firth ma in versione 1 con i driver sostituiti e un paio di Roland A7). Queste isolano in modo ottimale (non si sentono le bacchette sui vari pad) e la qualità audio è molto buona. Il tipo di cavo è adeguato per il mio caso (la centralina ha il jack da 3,5 mm come le cuffie). La parte che avvolge il padiglione auricolare è comoda ma se fa molto caldo (oltrei 30 gradi) fa sudare parecchio.

2 usages à ce casque : branché à ma batterie électronique, il réceptionne bien le son de la batterie. Je m'en sers aussi non branché pour m'isoler des bruits ambiants ( de match de foot à la télé par exemple).

O fone é muito bem construído e som espetacular, isola quase tudo, o que eu já sabia é que ele aperta demais a cabeça por isso isola o som externo, ficar 2 horas com ele na cabeça é praticamente impossível
