November 13th, 2015 was a day, in the immortal words of Don McLean "The music died!" 89 people were murdered at The Eagles Of Death Metal (EODM) concert at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris, France. 'Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)' directed by Colin Hanks (yes, Tom's son) recounts the bands experience before and after the horrific event, the special relationship between lead singer Jesse Hughes and other founder band member Josh Homme (also lead singer of Queens Of The Stone Age), the special bond EODM share with their fans and how the band restaged the concert with a return to Paris, playing the Olympia concert hall in February 2016...taking "The music back!" 'Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)' is harrowing and heart-breaking but also triumphant and soul-searching! The return concert at the Olympia, which the documentary shows snippets, is one of the greatest live concerts I've ever watched. 'Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)' is a fantastic documentary and a must for EODM devotees and all Rock 'n' Roll fans! 'Eagles Of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends)' quintessential message with regard to the heinous act which took place November 13th 2015 at the Bataclan is simply this...'Life and it's joy must never be consumed by hatred, blame & anger!' Just get it, it'll make you love life just that little bit more!

A great documentary. These guys have a bond that transcends the worst humanity can throw at them, and converts it into something good. It takes courage, and heart, to lay the soul bare for all the world to see. Because this band had that courage, it triumped over the evil that seeks destruction through terror. Rock on, guys!
