Q: I have a 7 quart bowl lift ksm7586psr model number. will this beater fit my mixer? i don't want to use anything that will void my warranty.

I have the 7qt mixer and this beater works fine. The coated beater's lose their paint and I was worried about flecks of paint being in my dough.

Q: Is this stainless steel or is it coated? This model number is for stainless steel, but the descriotion says nylon coated.

The one I got when I ordered is solid stainless steel with no vinyl coating.

Q: I thought Inhad a 7 qt mixing bowl for this but mine is 6 but it seems to work anyway. Will it hurt the mixer? I have a professional seres 5

I have a pro 5 as well. The 5 uses virtually the same size as the 7. This is the ONLY beater I could find to fit the 5 Pro that was stainless and not the cheap enamel coated garbage the KitchenAid sells with the 5 Pro. We’ve been using it heavily for 6 months without any issues.
