Good price for great tasting expresso
This expresso is rich and full-bodied. If you like a strong cup of coffee, this is it. I usually get it in the $4-$5 range and that is definitely a good find for expresso. I would highly recommend it.

Reliable product and tasty! Very rich and wonderful no matter if you want an Americano or something more fancy. The price is steady, which I’m grateful for in this crazy current economy.

Good but has a burnt taste
This coffee has a very strong flavor. When I first brewed it, I got a little burnt taste and honestly I thought I messed up and over-extracted it. But after a couple cups I realized that’s just how this roast is. It’s that dark almost like a smoky profile; not actually burned. It’s a bit much straight black for me, but with some almond milk and monk fruit sugar it balances out really well. I also use it to make cafe de olla. The bitterness mellows and you still get that intense coffee kick. For $4 it’s a solid deal if you like your coffee strong. Also it does give me that energy I need in the morning. Just know going in that “strong” here means a slight burnt note too. Would buy again, just not for guests who want a light roast.
