I've bought dozens of LED strips over the years. This is easily one of the most impressive. Great led patterns. Great light quality and brightness. The remote is laughably huge but that's not even an issue it's a great set.

The included power supply has a max output of 86w, which makes sense when you turn this strip up to high. Pros: -Bright. You will not have any issues with lighting in any direction, and it's adjustable. -Ease of use. The strip stuck well to the pained wood and the cuttable strip made getting the exact length I needed (19ft) very easy. The kits to reconnect strips or to make sections is also very nice, though I did not buy and test that. -Controller. The presets are so numerous in terms of effects, and you can get further details and control over them on the app. -App. I personally do not want to use a smart home assistant, so I am glad I did not have to sign in or make an account to control my device. The app allows you to take further control of the effects and even change the directions of the lights, as shown I the video. Cons: -gets dim but still lights up a room on its lowest setting, which may be too much for those who want to put this in their room but have it still be semi dark -if you want a color like orange or pink, you will need to download the app. Colors outside the main 6 are hard to achieve but doable. However, the full RGB spectrum isnt fully present. Possible flaws -adhesive backing longevity. Only time will tell how long they last. -light longevity. We do not plan on having these on 24/7, so hopefully we do not experience any burn out.

Absolutely garbage. They are so ridiculously fragile. The also don't work worth a crap once you cut them to for your tv/corners. Even soldered directly to the actual strip and not using corner connectors, they still will not work reliably. If course, this all happened after I cut them to place around my TV. They just absolutely refuse to work with any connector/soldered directly to the strip at any point they were cut, on any length. Zero. Also, the transition from color to color was really choppy. It's jiggered along vs being a smooth transition. I was only planning on using them as a solid color but man, for 85$ these are crap.

I couldn’t be happier with this LED strip set. It’s low profile, diffused and addressable, hit everything I wanted. Everything feels of good quality but most importantly the lighting and effects are quality as well. I needed it to complete my vintage Mac’s look. It gives the case a beautiful and classy (but fun) vibe. I was unable to use the whole strip, which bums me out but I don’t think it needed them. I did add an extra strip in another spot and soldered 3 wires to the solder pads that are on the strip. This made it “easier” to connect ok a different connection. The secondary strip follows the light pattern from where you solder in the strip. I do wish they had a black option but the 3M adhesive is super good. WiFi and Bluetooth functionality works nicely too and all for a great price.

When I received my LED tape roll and began unrolling it, I immediately noticed it had clearly been used before. There was no backing on the bottom of the tape and it was all gummy like it had been played with for a while. As I kept unrolling, there were globs of sticky backing all bunched up like it had been stuck and restuck multiple times over. With more unrolling, I saw a bunch of hairs all stuck to the bottom that are definitely not mine. After plugging it in, the strip lit up purple with one section being red. I tried using the remote…did not respond. I tried pressing the buttons on the in-line controller…did not respond. I guess there’s a reason it says, “Frequently Returned Item”
