Absolutely phenomenal. I've been cutting weight while trying to maintain as much muscle mass as possible and this fills the niche perfectly being so high in protein for relatively few calories. Obviously straight whey isolate has an equal if not better protein to calorie ratio but let's be real, sometimes you just want to open a can and get on with your day instead of mixing up a protein shake. Outside of that, the ingredients are pretty clean and fairly simple, no stomach issues at all, and it's got a solid vanilla flavor with a nice thickness to it. Even the price isn't absurd when compared to other ready to drink protein shakes, given that this basically outclasses all of them in every conceivable way.

I bought these because they have the most protein, for the least calories of any shakes in cans that I could find. The taste is not bad, a little on the sweet side for me, but they blend well with fruit. I give them 9/10! Like all shakes they taste better cold, and I find it easier to drink if I blend it with crushed ice. Great way to get some protein when I am not eating much.

I purchased these to test to see if it would taste better than the brand I currently use. I like that they offer this in Vanilla, since most companies only offer chocolate or caramel, which I dislike. The taste is good, as long as I remember to shake it up first. Additionally, be warned to use care when opening it. Like a soda, it explodes if you don’t tap it before opening. I usually place a paper towel over the top and then open it. That way if it explodes from the shaking, the mess is minimal. Also, drink it while it is cold. The taste is significantly different when it is drunk warm. I think it is a great value for the price. Additionally, it helps me meet my daily protein intake when I just don’t feel like eating.

I love this stuff it’s pricey and I don’t know how much longer I will be able to afford it, but so far so good!!!

I really enjoyed the Slate Vanilla Protein Shake! It tastes great, and I have no complaints about the flavor or texture. I especially love that it has 42g of protein, which makes it an easy and convenient way for me to get more protein in throughout the day. I would definitely purchase it again!

Great product. Cheaper than competitors and less calories per drink. I like the can too rather than plastic. Taste is good (I think…I mix mine with protein powder).

This RTD shake is in an aluminum can so you can avoid some microplastics with other brands that come in plastic bottles. Appreciate it. The vanilla was a bit too sweet and left a sweet/funny aftertaste. It was medium thickness which is good. The vanilla flavor itself was good and not overpowering. Also, liked the amount of protein in the drink at 42g.
