Meta Ray Ban Wayfarer Large Black & Graphite Green Smart Glasses

These glasses are amazing. The video quality is really good, it takes good photos and it can all be done by voice commands. Best thing I’ve bought in years. I’ll be using them on my future trips abroad.

Ok so I got mines from my eye doctor and used my medical for it. But I got the medium and did not want my hubby to streatch my pair. I got him the larger size, it fits perfect for him and does not look awkward on him. For use, if we are listening to music consistently or watching something while using the batteries will not last too long. The battery on the case although lasts a long time. But I will charge the case at the end of the day. BUT on vacation, we wore it all day. We did NOT play music while on vacation and used it mostly for catching candids of the kids and taking videos on rides! It lasted the whole time and did not die. I took a few hotel tour videos with this and the QUALITY was great. Because we have small children we are not constantly on our phones and being able to take a picture on the fly is such a great thing to have and we are able to catch the moments we wouldnt be able to if we had to pull out our phones. This is why we think we believe this is a good buy.

I have tried other smart glasses and mostly used Echo Frames on a daily basis. Both the 2nd and 3rd generations at their launch. The 2nd gen served me very well and I mostly switched back to them over the 3rd generation until now. First off Ray Bans are great glasses. These don’t let you down in that sense. For me the fit has been perfect. Audio beats all other open ear products including the Echo Frames. They get LOUD. The camera is fantastic on these. I don’t need 64mp or anything like that. I have a husky who is hard to catch in the act. Now I can take photos and videos on the fly without grabbing my phone and opening the app. Now the reason that I bought these when I already had smart glasses is for the AI upgrade and the future upgrades they will get. The identify through asking Meta works VERY well. I sold my wife on wanting to get a pair of her own by having her tell them to translate pages out of a book written in French. Asking them to translate street signs that were in Spanish. They worked flawlessly. Not only that but we both love taking photos on the fly. The transitions don’t get super tinted but I wasn’t expecting them to. I did my research and knew what I was getting. I also believe that these will be semi future proof for a little while at least. Mark Zuckerberg seems pretty obsessed with them which means that FB will continue to throw money at testing and upgrading the AI more. With all of that said I am very happy with my purchase.
