This works brilliantly - my dogs just walk though it and it keeps the flies out - this is the third year I have bought the product as it works so well.It’s great quality and lasts all year and washable too.

These are great quality and do actually close together using magnets. This is the second one of these I've bought from this brand. The first did four 8-month stints on my backdoor between early 2021 and late 2024. By the end it was looking a little ragged but I felt I'd had my money's worth! Prior to that, I used a different (and slightly cheaper brand) which barely lasted a summer and before that I used one from a discount supermarket that lasted all of two weeks. These are easy to fit, easy to use, keep the flies out, long-lasting, and are happy on the outside of the door in sun, wind and rain.

This is fantastic for my balcony door. I have pet birds that are free range during the day and I needed to be able to let fresh air in on hot days. This is working perfectly. The curtains automatically fall shut and hang flush immediately after I pass through them.Installing was a slightly annoying process because the curtains are the EXACT dimensions of the window. That means there's not much material to actually adhere to the frame. An extra centimetre on them would have been helpful. I was able to use the included tacks pushed into the very corner of the wooden frame and it worked out. It wouldn't have been as good had my frame been metal.

This is a really well made product, nicely sewn edges, good magnetic closure not too weak or strong. The curtain has the Velcro fixing sewn onto the curtain seam which was a thrilled about as it gives the curtain structure which allowed me to modified the way I attached it to my door. Instead of using the tape provide which I did not want to stick all around my door and have the laborious task of removing it in the autumn, I used a well know brand of removable Velcro stickying pads to secure it. For the 80cm x 200cm size I used 5 strips across the top, I probably could have got away with less however I wanted one in the middle as I felt this would get the most pull where it opened and shut with magnetic closure, then one in each at the ends of the top edge, and also one each equidistant between middle and ends. It seemed so well secured and the nicely made I only used two strips down each side one around the middle and one at the bottom. This has worked a treat so when I remove it later in the year to pack away I can quickly and easily remove the pads stuck in my door.I’d highly recommend this product but suggest an improvement of removable sticky Velcro for the door frame rather than the sticky Velcro roll provided, that’s the only reason I took a star off for adhesion.If you wanted to nail this to your door there were about a dozen quite attractive brass tacks in the pack too.

I've never written a review for Amazon before because I've never really come across a product worthy of one. Until now. We've recently acquired a couple of puppies and as a result we need to keep our back door open. Just outside the door is the food waste and now the dog poo refuse container. Both of these are very attractive to flies. For the last few months we have had an apocalyptic amount of flies entering our home. We decided to invest in a door screen. We were not hopeful as we assumed it would be ineffective and would probably be destroyed by the pups.The screen arrived, the application method read and even a youtube clip watched. The actual setting up of the screen was relatively simple and then the pleasure began. Firstly the dogs simply took it in their stride, they walked through and the screen parted as if it wasn't there. Then we tried it, it opened and closed behind us as if it was from the future and part of a Star Trek episode. We are so pleased, to the point that we have invited friends over to sample its pleasures. Obviously we don't have many friends.In summary we cannot recommend this product enough. It's good value, effective and hugely pleasurable to use. Even if you don't need one, it's essential.

Quality screen , easy to fit , magnets close well , lasted all summer with constant useWould definitely recommend as value for money.
