I have been crocheting for a couple of years as a way to relieve stress and this i cord product appeared on my feed on social media, I wanted to give it a try. This was by far the most stress I had in a long time. I normally grasp the concept of new items quickly but this stressed me out for a couple of hours one evening and I could not get anything even remotely started. Please save your money and time on this product- get a better quality one.

Having troubles figuring this out and unable to accurately follow the instructions that came with it. Relatively knew to crotchet, so unable if that is a large part.

I read the other reviews and took a chance. I shouldn't have. First, the needles used are extremely thin and the latches are rough and do not move smoothly. The second issue is that there is not enough length of the needles before the handle, so you do not have enough room to slide the knitting down to reset the latches. And when you do pull the work back up to bring the loops over the hooks, the latches slip sideways and your loops end up in the hook with your yarn over instead of sliding over the end of the hook. I am a knitter of 55 years and have knit miles of I-Cord with DPNs. I'm sure a better made tool would work fine. They should have used smoother, thicker needles.INFO FOR BEGINNING: Search Youtube for 'Knit with Laura Nelkin', then search her videos for I-cord and you will find an excellent tutorial for using her 3 needle tool. It should work for a tool with any amount of needles.

I am an experienced knitter, and knitters are always looking for the next new trick or gadget. These latch hook tools are relatively new on the scene, and I was excited to try one out.The Good:-As with any new tool, it takes some practice to get the hang of its use. I found that watching videos was more helpful than the pamphlet that came with the tool (when you search for a video on the Internet, know that this tool is also called a "cording quill").-Starting a cord seems to be the most difficult, and take a few false starts to get going. Keeping a very loose tension seems to be the skill to master in making this work.-Even with all of my tugging and twisting to master the tool, this latch hook remained sturdy.-The latches on the needle operate correctly, and the "jaws" of the hooks have the right amount of over lap on the hooks.-The handle is easy and comfortable to hold.The Bad:-NothingThis product met my expectations.
