Why include rose hip?

I am not the manufacturer. I purchased this brand with rose hips for these reasons. Rose hips suggested uses include as a rich source of Vitamin C, with about 1700-2000 mg per 100 g in dried product; remedy for rheumatoid arthritis; reduces symptoms of knee and hip osteoarthritis; helps the immune system to fight off foreign invaders and out of control cells; facilitates fat metabolism; protects tissues from free radical damage; assists the nervous system by converting certain amino acids into neurotransmitters; prevents scurvy; protects joints and connective tissues; protects adrenal function; ability to prevent urinary bladder infections, and assist in treating dizziness and headaches; used externally in oil form to restore firmness to skin by nourishing and astringing tissue; brewed into a decoction, can also be used to treat constipation; and rose hips contain lots of iron, rose hip tea is used during menstruation to make up for iron loss.

We follow the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program as outlined by the FDA, in order to identify potential food safety hazards. The HACCP program addresses physical, chemical and biological hazards, preventing any possible cross contamination with offending known allergens. As part of the HACCP program, we evaluate the cleaning of our manufacturing equipment in order to determine if an allergen protein is present. Our cleaning procedures have been evaluated and have been found to sufficiently remove all possible allergen proteins.

Necessity for Cold and Flu Season

These capsules are super easy to take and have no flavor. I have not noticed any digestion issues. I do notice a huge difference between when I take them and when I don’t. If I stay consistent, I seem to rarely ever get sick! It’s a great value.
