2006 GMC 7500. Lost the original fuel cap when the chain broke. This fit perfect and was less than half of buying one from an auto parts store. No leaks! Great value! Performs as it should!

To start , my husband owns and operates a small moving business. He has one box truck and a couple of enclosed trailers. He box truck is a 1988 GMC ( old uhaul truck). Parts are really hard to find. His workers aren't always as observant as they should be. A couple years ago one his his workers failed to screw the gas cap back on . Finding a replacement was like looking for a needle in a haystack. When the garage located one it cost a hefty 80 plus dollars. Of course we had to eat that ( if you're a business owner you know what I'm talking about). Needless to say along rolls summer 2023 and another worker fails to screw the gas cap on ( come on guys , how hard is it ?? ) This time I went straight to Amazon and low and behold there is the glorious gas cap. ⛽️. But , and this is the best part it was a quarter of the price. Bless you Amazon for saving us once again .

I purchased this tank fuel cap for my friend’s 2014 International 4300 after he lost his original cap at a gas station (it didn’t have a chain). It has now been over a year since installation. One thing we really like is that this cap comes with a chain attached. When you open the tank, the chain holds the cap in place so you don’t lose it again.
