PM-101 Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte (8.5 x 11", 50 Sheets)

As an artist, this is my favorite paper for making matte art prints on my Canon iX6820 printer. Prints are vibrant and true to the intended colors. I've had customers compliment me on the quality of my prints, and they're shocked when I tell them I print them myself. One thing I've noticed is that with the most recent batch, I've had some difficulty getting good results with toner foiling. I'm not sure if the paper thickness or coating has changed at all, but the print quality on this paper is still amazing, so I don't think it's an actual quality issue, but just something to be aware of. (The slightly thinner regular Canon matte photo paper still works great for foiling without a significant drop in print quality). Overall, I'd recommend it, especially if you're printing on a Canon printer.

So far this is my favorite paper for smooth prints. I realized that if I print on the back of it which is whiter in comparison the prints come out more vibrant. I’ve sold a lot of prints on this paper and my customers have loved them too. It is good option in budget if you’re printing at home. It works well with my Canon Pixma Pro 200. The thickness of the paper is really good. It has never jammed in my printer. I use it on the Matte paper setting. The appearance of the paper is quite smooth and its creamy on one side and more white on the other. The colors come out really bright on the whiter side compared to the creamy side. And the darks and whites also come out great on the whiter side. Highly recommend it for the people starting out in the art prints section.

This is good quality photo matte paper at a good price.

Very nice paper for printing B/W on my Epson ET-8550. --- This is my first batch, so I don't know if this is always the case, but, I have noticed a VERY small difference in texture one side to the other. I suspect most people wouldn't notice. It's probably no big deal. However, when you go to print, take a look at the texture on both sides and decide for yourself which might be better for you.

Be aware that the actual photo paper is sandwhiched between two heavy cardstock pieces at each end! They're there to keep the paper from getting munched in shipping. That's why many are saying it's too heavy or prints poorly. It works great if you actually put in the right paper. Yes, I learned this the hard way and I feel really dumb now.

these papers were made for the canon pro 200. my digital illustration prints came out crisp and clear and the colors were vibrant and beautiful. the paper quality/thickness is good and substantial. i wish it was just a bit cheaper but i understand it being the brand name and being made specifically for a printer gives it an advantage. i would use only for my best prints and not for proofing/testing or other smaller projects.

I use this paper for my small party invitation business and print on them using Canon Pixma Pro-100, using "Matte Photo Paper" setting. This is not a glossy paper, and I wouldn't necessarily use it for photos. But this is a huge step above any of the junk cardstock you will purchase at a craft store, because it has an ICC profile (very important). The text and colors on my cards come out bright and crisp. As for determining what side to print on. When you first open your package the plastic packaging facing you will have a glue strip that you open, the side that's facing you is the correct printing side, no guess work required. It's the same for all Canon papers.
