I'm relatively new to false nails, although this isn't my first round. After my first few sets, I quickly realized that I needed tips on the shorter side, and I did *not* want something that strictly required the use of a UV lamp for curing. Although these can be used with gel, they do not have to be! They fit all my other criteria too: easy to apply, quick to remove, comfortable, attractive, durable, and inexpensive. The size XS Oval still has a bit of length as I have shorter nail beds, but they aren't too long or pointy, and they make my fingers look longer without being obtrusive. I have smallish pinky nails and didn't have issues finding a fit. My nail beds are also on the flatter side and these are not too curved for comfort, but they might be a little curved if your beds are exceptionally flat. I have fair-cool skin and the Nude French shade looks pretty natural without pulling too yellow or pink; I hemmed and hawed about whether I should get the Pink French shade instead, but I'm glad I went with Nude. They are a tad sheer so you should take your time to avoid glue bubbles showing through. The attached picture is with a quick application so a couple fingers have imperfect cuticle areas; I figured it would be good for shoppers to see what a messy application looks like, too. They're totally passable if you're not inspecting close-up, IMO. I lightly filed the tips where they snapped off from the packaging using a 180/240-grit nail file, applied a regular air-dry top coat (please note that they are matte without it), wiped my natural nails clean with an alcohol wipe, and attached the tips with sticky tabs from the same brand (which btw have excellent adherence, but I have to trim them due to the aforementioned short nail beds). Glue can give you a tidier looking cuticle area as they will sit more flush, but I'm still clumsy enough that I find it messy. I typically get a week of wear with zero issues, which is pretty good for a gel-free application without a bunch of extra steps, and they're quick to swap out when the time comes. I do avoid using my nails as prying tools (oyster shucking knives are the absolute best), but otherwise I don't baby them; I do plenty of cleaning and lifting and hand/face-washing and shampooing throughout the week, and it doesn't mess these up at all. Plus, if you use tabs to attach, the tips can be cleaned and reused a couple times, if so desired. Definitely worth the price, which currently comes to about $5 per application if you get them on Subscribe & Save, plus a few cents for glue/tabs and top coat. Honestly a very good deal for something that still gives me the flexibility to change them whenever I wish.

These are my favorite nails- I used to pay $50+ for dip every two weeks because I love the look of nice hands. Now i use these- they a bit flexible so your finger doesnt hurt so bad when you wear them like other brands. I did get better glue but they stay on for a solid week (sometimes more) and im super hard on my hands.

I am a salon girly every 2 weeks spending 60+ on nails and i wanted to give these a try to see if it was worth it. I’ve had the same set on now for 16 days and only needed pop on 2 new nails during this time. Quality 8/10 I will say applying a top coat weekly does help keep them clean looking/ stopping them from chipping which they will if you don’t. Only downfall, they do tend to wear down and may need reshaped here and there. Highly recommend though! Strong, not flimsy. 1/2 sets used $15 for 2 weeks compared to $60+ at a salon is a win win!

I don’t have builder gel or the product it says to use, I just used nail glue and then a regular gel top coat. You def need something on top otherwise it looks very matte and flat. Will update review with how they stay on, but right now I really like them

Hello All! If you’re looking for an at home nail routine, this is the one you want. I am an active stay at home mother to two young kids. The extra short length is just right to not scratch the kids. You will need a top coat on this but as this product states, it helps with the wearing of the nail. The almond looks classy as well. There are 5 sets that come in this pack so you can get many manicures out of this purchase. They’re easy and quick to put on. I would recommend this item.
