Dependability especially if you use excel worksheets.
Still one of the best. So far, I've been using a Dell laptop and had no other since I was in college. I'm now 85 and still using only Dell laptops. They are dependable and last longer than other brands my friends use. Thank you.

Beware
The laptop is fine. I also ordered a desk top. It did not work after a service cal and after sending it back and after multiple hours on the phone with them . They are giving me an extremely hard time in getting my money back.

Good screen and battery for the size
The 2.5K 16:10 panel is sharp and bright enough for indoor use, and the battery easily covers a work day. It stays quiet most of the time and does not get hot on the lap. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions.

Okay but wait for better costs when prices come down
It's okay but definitely not worth the price tag. First, they replaced the CTRL button on the right side with a CoPilot AI button. I'm right handed, as are most people, so this is Microsoft trying to enforce their AI on people. After an internet search it seems that it's mostly left handed people complaining about the button, however; I'm right handed and use the right hand CTRL button for my CTRL+A functions. Second, the keyboard is terrible, it feels and sounds cheap; it's been decades since laptops were debuted, cheap innovation has happened to reduce this horrible experience. DELL and others will point to the "business" use of this laptop; which comes back to byte them since most heavily used laptops are by people who use them for business purposes, outside of gamers but many of them use extra keyboards. This is a $400 system marked up artificially due to "supply chain" issues. I upgraded because my prior laptop was 12 years old and it was just time. If you have a never system, just wait for prices to fall. They will, they always do.

Item appears to have been previously opened or used and possible hardware defect.
Possible chronic hardware issue. The package appeared to have been previously opened, with dust present, poorly wrapped cables, and visible marks on both the laptop and charger. Shortly after setup, the screen began flickering. Multiple attempts to run Dell hardware diagnostics reported that a problem had been detected, but the hardware verification could not be completed. Dell SupportAssist was also unable to identify the issue. Due to signs of prior use and a potential hardware defect, I am requesting a return.
