Works great for my Astrophotography needs. Easy to use. Very stable for long exposures

This SMALLRIG phone mount worked great with my DJI RS 4 Mini. One of my favorite features is the ability to switch between horizontal and vertical orientation instantly, without having to readjust the mount and balancing like you do with the OEM version. The only thing to keep in mind is that after balancing the gimbal, you’ll want to double-check that your vertical and horizontal lines are level before recording. Since the mount can be manually tilted, it’s easy to end up with a slightly crooked horizon if you’re not paying attention. Overall, it’s a well-designed upgrade that makes switching orientations much faster and more convenient.

The mount itself is really high quality solid metal construction, very adjustable, and feels professional. I bought it for the Hohem MT2, which is supposed to be Arca‑Swiss compatible, but the fit is extremely tight and barely works. For the price, I expected smoother compatibility. Great build, but disappointing in terms of actual usability with the MT2.

Sie wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet, stabil und ist deutlich durchdachter als viele einfache Kunststoffhalter. Besonders praktisch finde ich die vielen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten. Die Halterung verfügt über eine Gewindeaufnahme, ist Arca-Swiss-kompatibel, lässt sich nach unten neigen, nach oben aufstellen und zusätzlich rotieren. Dadurch kann man das Smartphone sehr flexibel ausrichten, egal ob am Stativ, auf einem Rig oder in einem Kamera-Setup. Sehr gut gefällt mir außerdem die zusätzliche Aufnahme im Stil eines Blitzschuhs. Dort kann man zum Beispiel Zubehör wie eine kleine Videoleuchte, ein Mikrofon oder anderes Equipment befestigen. Gerade im Foto- und Videobereich ist das extrem praktisch. Typisch SmallRig: durchdacht, solide und vielseitig einsetzbar. Für mich aktuell mein liebster Handyhalter, sowohl auf dem Rig als auch auf dem Stativ. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen und klar weiterempfehlen.
