Exactly As Advertized And EXCELLENT
This product is sold in 5 oz and 16 oz sizes by the seller. I thought about just trying a 5 oz to try it out, but decided to just go for it. The product arrived today and so I opened it and used it in tonights dinner. The cloves are nicely cured, have a semi-sweet taste with no bitterness or after taste. All the cloves are nicely peeled so you just pull them out of the jar and use them as you need them. Some other black garlic sold on Amazon is full garlic bulbs, and are sourced from outside the US. so you have extra prep to use them, and you do not know the sourcing for the actual garlic, nor how it is cured. This product is completely sourced in the US, and the cloves in the jar are all well cured, yet still slightly moist (think soft and chewy), and easy to mince and use in food prep.

Great product
Once in while there's a peel but I don't know how they can peel it at all. This one was my 8 or 9th jar, was buying it elsewhere at same price but I needed a fast delivery and have Prime.

Great Taste, Nutritious and Wakes You Up in the mornings!
Realizing that garlic is a "superfood" that I did not eat enough of I looked for a way to eat it daily. This is so good it's like candy. It tastes a bit like licorice, if licorice wasn't a plastic rope people got in movie theatres. For some reason I absorb the vitamin B6 in it pretty quickly after eating it and it wakes me up in the morning - I have about a tablespoon or so in the mornings on an empty stomach. In the evenings it tastes a bit sour, but not bad. I will be buying tons more of this.

US grown peeled, fermented cloves that are moist, and easy to chop. The product from China was hard and dried out.

Mixed bag...
I've bought this product before and the most recent batch had not been fully peeled (lot of excess peel on the garlic), and was far softer than prior batches almost becoming like a pureed consistency. I've been happy with products in the past but something was off recently. Overall tasty, but quality control has certainly slipped quite a bit.
