These seemed great in theory, but oh my goodness the sugar!! Yes you get a bit of protein in them, but I honestly don't understand how they can be called a 'protein bar' when they have twice as much sugar as actual protein. 19g of sugar per serving, they actually made me feel sick. Yes I eat desserts, chocolate, sweets etc, but if I'm eating a protein bar I actually want protein not just a big glucose spike. Next time I'll skip the perfect bar and just have a slice of cake!

This is my first time trying this product and honestly they are DELICIOUS. My only issue is that the first time it was sent I wasn't physically home to receive it. The tag they left said they would return the next delivery day but UPS instead put it in a locker outside that was not temp controlled, and never tried to deliver it again. As they attempted delivery on a Saturday, and I waited Monday for the next delivery, I didn't retrieve it from the locker until Tuesday. I live in SC and it's summer, so imagine my surprise when I discovered everything basically destroyed from being out in the heat for a few days. This item is perishable and comes with ice packs but it is not meant to sit out for days in a non temp controlled locker and so it was all mush and sopping wet. This is an important point because I was sent an email saying Amazon was moving to this locker pickup option. It's a no for me.I highly recommend the product, just make sure you're home to receive it. I don't know why they won't just leave it at the door if they're willing to check it into a non temp controlled locker *outside*. After requesting a replacement and voicing what happened, Amazon turned around and sent me a new box VERY quickly without issue.

My wife and I first discovered this product at Starbucks. While a bit pricey I really enjoyed the protein bar. When I ordered the product through Amazon I was a little hesitant since the company is located in San Diego and the shipping time would be longer than I would normally expect. When I received the product the box was torn (probably UPS’ fault). But the ice “packs” actually hot. The bars were melted. So I put the bars in the refrigerator where they resolidified. When I opened the bars the chocolate was meted to the packaging but otherwise the bars were fine.

Wow...I am a huge fan. Taste is amazing, and I know how you can get that sugar down. Thats my biggest problem with this bar. The sugar is high, and 330-340 calories. Other than that the bar is awesome. I would purchase again, but I might alternate out for a lower cal, and sugar bar, then come back to this for a few weeks. I have made this bar before, in my own kitchen and might do that too.Great bar though!! I really wanted to eat a couple when I got them, but didnt...lol.
