Davis Instruments 6153 Vantage Pro2 Wireless Weather Station with 24-Hour Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield and LCD Display Console

The Davis 6153 Wireless Vantage Pro2 is a very easy weather station to set up. It has been running for one month with no problems. The weather station is very well built. The data that it has generated is very accurate. It is well worth the money for the features it comes with.

I had one of these for 20 years. You won't find a better weather instrument for the price. My old one finally wore out and because of the age parts were not available. There was no question in my mind what I would buy to replace the old one. It is easy to assemble and put into service and there are a number of ways you can use it. Using this instrument the weather service would like you to report your data. It is as good as any professional instrument out there.

Davis makes excellent products. I replaced the one I had out side for 10 years with this new one. Almost identical to the old one except where they saw to improve. I took the old one apart and after cleaning, it worked fine too. Accurate and is simple to set up. Great for weather hobbyist.

I'm very happy with the weather station. The only disappointment was that you have to pay a subscription to remotely access your own data via computer.

Excellent equipment, works great!Davis tech support, not so good.I was confused by the fact that my station was reporting much cooler temperatures than other stations near by. Davis tech suppory presonnel were not able to explain that a fan-aspirated measurement is always cooler.Other than, love my new weather station.One more thing, don't buy ambient weather...spend a few more bucks.

This was purchased to replace our old weather station. I has more features than our old weather station had. So far it has been worth the cost.

I worked in air monitoring for 25 yrs using federal standard met. systems. This unit comes very close to that level. Easy to set up and use. The "console" is quite comprehensive and gives present, past and archived data at the touch of a button. All in all, very good system.

This didn't work correctly from the start. Lots of time spent on the phone with customer support. Never accurate, no consistency at all. Completely stopped working about 4 months ago. Never again! Extremely expensive. Frustrating every time I look at it and know the amount of money I spent on it and lots of accessories were a total waste. Never again will I buy anything this brand!

Works well and does exactly what it is advertised to do. Lose 1 start for being too pricey.compared to other similar products
